Tinubu Mocks Buhari, Says He Failed To Provide Electricity Yet Calls Youths Lazy by DukeOfNigeria: 3:29pm On Apr 17, 2022
The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari for failing to provide electricity to Nigerian youths yet labelling the youths lazy.

The 2023 presidential aspirant said young Nigerians cannot be blamed for being “lazy” with erratic electricity supply in the country.

It would be recalled that President Buhari had been criticised after he said some Nigerian youths were lazy although he was miscontrued.

Buhari had said during a panel appearance with world leaders at the Commonwealth Business Forum in London that, “More than 60 per cent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil-producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free,”

His speech was mischievoulsy translated to him saying that Nigerian youths are lazy.

Speaking at a rally of South West youths of APC, Tinubu took a swipe at Buhari. He said no nation can witness “rapid development” without electricity, adding that, the country cannot continue to give “excuses” for failure to generate a stable power supply.

He said the country is blessed with enough gas that can be used to generate electricity and even export to European countries.

"We cannot continue with excuses on NEPA failure. No! No nation can make rapid development without electricity," Tinubu said.

“Give us that, and if we cannot be successful, you can abuse us. You cannot give us erratic electricity that is undependable and then blame us again that we are lazy. No!

"Nigeria — it is about time. We have enough gas to fire up our electricity. We can supply the rest of Europe with gas, and we can make money from it.”

If this news is true, is it not enough to prove Tinubu's hypocrisy? Has Tinubu not been praising Buhari? Tinubu has suddenly begun to condemn Buhari because Tinubu knows majority voters hate Buhari and Buhari's supporters.

Baba, Tinugu played the ostrich all this while. He is the biggest and fattest hypocrite of them all. When herdsmen were killing people Tinubu never coughed. When he was interviewed he famously asked, "where are the cows?" He comfortably shielded the herdsmen.

I believe he is getting feedback from Abuja and now he is trying to speak up. He failed Nigerians when they needed him. He is a desperado willing to do anything now for power.

Buhari will have his time in a few weeks.
