My problem is complicated.First my old charger blew and i packed my laptop to rest next it fell from a height which got the battery and another stuff fircefully dislodged even though i put them back.

presently,i bought a new charger to check whatsup with it,it now makes this piercing sound for a while before loading the windows and also keeps pressing the j button.to even type my password is war cos na jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj dey full am.
The charger works though i noticed the battery icon always shows the red x sign while charging which i dont understand cos my battery used to last atleast 50mins .now once you comot charger,lappy goes off.

I need help or clue as to whats the problem.Its a hp laptop.

when you power it on, quick press the f12 key on your keyboard.

Check if you can see the HDD among the list of boot able option.

But I saw SATA and under it was ATA and AHCI but it's on ACHI currently
it really spoiling my day..

1.Download hard disk sentinel, search for it on Google and install it on your laptop, run it and check the health of your hdd.
If it is low then you need to replace your hdd.

2. press the Windows button + R key and type msconfig, click on the startup, and remove the thick from the apps you install, then click on apply and restart your laptop.

msconfig, then click on the startup option at the top, you will definitely see it.

click on services (it is beside the startup), then you will see hide Microsoft services at the bottom, tick it so you won't tamper with any system app. You can then begin to unstick apps you feel you don't need at startup
