If there was no endsar, banditry, bokoharam, ipob and all those inciting violence, there won't have been increase in the price of foodstuffs.

Inflation is around 16% thanks to those "gentle" problems above

The real inflation in Nigeria is 26%

many countries too have protest like nigeria e.g black lives matter protest, even farmers protest in india for some reason but they were able to reduce the inflation why can't we do that instead of blaming

and beside why do we have govt if bandit, Fulani herdsman and boko haram are killing people in the country?

They sack all the good hands in a hurry and brought in politicians to take over governance.
The result is what you are seeing. It will continue to surge because they believe is a way of
making one section of the country benefit from dividend of democracy.

Note the high cost in that area is not as much as what you are seeing here. We suffer, they enjoy.

My people, foodstuffs prices are becoming something else on a daily basis..the increment is mostly over 50 percent increase in some cases and I wonder how average Nigerians are managing. Something has to be done has this is getting out of hand.

Meanwhile some persons are already planning for 2023 when there's absolutely no positively in their current government. What is a way out of this or is just me feeling the heat?

Blame the middle Men who bought from the farmers, blame the police who made transporters pay more bribe, blame the greedy transporters who exploiting the situation,Blame the local Agricultural Quarantine post by the highway who make sure the collect their own bribe, blame the greedy trader's who want 1000% profit.

Government has no regulations over food prices, plant the little you can in your garden, even if it's ordinary pepper

Oga I thought you had small sense?

What you listed are symptoms of a fundamental problem. What you listed are symptoms of insecurity and who is responsible for that?

You can now go and sit at the end of room.

That's what happens when teh government controls the media. The now control the voice of the people. Normally, you willl see news articles about the rise in food price, but they government forbids that.

I disagree, the blame is from the criminal sellers that store some of these food items so they can sell when the prices are higher.
They create the perception of scarcity, we the masses are our own greatest undoing!
Not everything is government abeg
[/s] You're just talking trash. The cost of fuel affects the price of the movement of goods and services so who should we blame for the price hike in fuel? Government

The insecurity plauging the nation's farmers has left alot of farmers scared of returning to the farms due to killer herdsmen, so who are we to blame for the insecurity? Government

So stop affiliating yourself with this satanic regime
