Police Repel Attack At Zone 13 Facilities, Ukpo, Anambra State

Gallant police officers, today, Monday, 19th April, 2021, pushed back unknown individuals that attempted to overrun Zone 13 Headquarters of the Nigerian Police, located at Ukpo, Anambra state.

Zone 13 Police Command Principal Public Relations Officer, Princess Nkiru Nwode praised the courage of the police officers, saying that the Zone is committed to ensuring safety of lives and property at all times. “The command suffered minimal damage but we successfully repelled the attack, and also recovered some weapons from the fleeing assailants”.

A source informed Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) that the fire in one of the buildings was started by a petrol bomb thrown from a distance by the attackers, and this spread to cars packed in the vicinity.

As at the time of publishing this, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, neither is the motive known.

Those burnt cars were imported by IPOB from Cameron to tarnish the image of the Nigerian Police force

Which of the attack did they repel please? You claimed to have repelled the attack yet a house was burnt, they claimed to have recovered some guns from the gunmen yet none of those gunmen was captured or killed, my question is how do you recover a gun from a gunman without capturing or killing him? they don't know about that,in my village every adult pays #2000 every month for security. And it doesn't matter whether you are based in the village or abroad.
