But you neither have the stars nor the players grin

That is the last squad named by CK Akunor your head coach. 98 percent of your squad is made up of tier-2 players, and you think you are better than ordinary Cape Verde?

Right now, Ghana neither have those stars, the team nor the cohesion. We all know about the infighting in the team borne outta the Ayew family trynna run the team like a family business by insisting that Dede be named the captain even ahead of Asamoah. We all know about the disunity, so don't you put Black Stars and cohesion in the same sentence ever again.

For now, Ghana football is dead, and it is a collection of individual players bearing grudges against one another, that is why Jordan Ayew was complaining the other time that the players don't pass him the ball.
Abeg, leave that guy, it's obvious that he wants to live in delusion

You still don't get it, huh? The Ghana team today is as solid as ever. When I look at the team, I don't look at individual players. I look at the how the team is able to play well together, and I like what i'm seeing about the Ghana team. I have seen the Nigerian play, and they didn't impress me that much. So what exactly is your point? Don't forget football is played on the field, not with mouth. So just relax. I believe very soon another opportunity will come for the team to play again. I believe it will happen soon. Yes, I don;t know when but I believe it will happen very soon.

You can only boast after beating Ghana, not before shocked That is the difference between Ghanaians and Nigerians. Nigerians like to boast, and talk as if they own the whole world. Ghanaians like to do and don't talk much.

D you know the heaviest defeat ever inflicted on Nigeria in an international football match was by Ghana? 7-0 shocked Ghana has beaten Nigeria twice as often as Nigeria has beaten Ghana. Even though you claim Ghana is not doing well, the team is rated by FIFA as the 6th best in Africa..That is not bad rating even though I don't think of the ratings as anything to take seriously.

you are not making sense. Ghana decides the games and sports it wants to participate in. If Ghana does not participate in basketball or volley, how is that your problem?

You aren't midgets, but you are definitely shorter grin .. Haven't seen you participate in sports meant for tall people.. Basketball and volleyball..

Decide what? Stop lying grin .. You have a basketball team but they aren't better than street basketball players grin
You have zero medals at the Olympics and Paralympics.
The total medal you have won at African games isn't up to the gold we have won at the tournament..
What about Commonwealth games .

Don't let the 4 AFCON titles you won deceive you.. Your country isn't a powerhouse in sports, certainly not in Africa... And your achievements in football doesn't extends far like ours.. You last won an AFCON when it had only 8 teams participating.. LMAO..
I'd offer you a large slice of humble pie, but you are too proud to eat it...

I also read that Leipzig has agreed, but Bayern is yet to.
There's a lot of money involved, but I'm not sure I agree with the whole thing.
Just seeing this. Been a while dear doc Likita. smiley

Anyway, latest reports from earlier today showed that the German clubs are united against it for now. Bayern and Dortmund have already released statements which I believe you must have come across by now. Leipzig? Well... Nothing yet.

It is the Serie A meeting outcome I have been waiting for and reports now say it is over with the Big 3 saying they still want to remain part of Serie A even if they play in the ESL. More decisions and meetings to be made in the coming days especially by Uefa whose president wants the 12 clubs banned ASAP.

hmmm the impression I'm getting from some quarters is that money will eventually make everyone fall in line but I think the crucial people who will help stop this Super League thing are the players of the respective 12 founder teams. If prominent guys like Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic can voice their displeasure that might cause a rethink.

UEFA and FIFA are fighting for their survival now so they will surely deploy every weapon in their arsenal.

Also heard players who get involved in the Super League could be banned from international football meaning wider repercussions for tournaments like World Cup, Euros, AFCON, Copa America etc.

Definitely UEFA and FIFA are fighting for their "Money" superiority and financial status in the hierarchy of the beautiful game (now more like Money game).
The ESL will surely attract the viewership because the once or twice in a season Big Games will become a weekly experience. What a product to put out there against what Uefa Champions league offer.

But shaa... we will see how the coming days play out.

And this @bolded... It's a very deep consequence. We could have a WC without Messi, Ronaldo, Lukaku, De Bruyne, Kante, Van Dijk, Ramos and the likes. Such a huge one but time will tell.
I think a compromise will be reached to partly satisfy all parties but UEFA for now are bullish about this. Ceferin is so mad at Juventus Presido, Agnelli and wants an immediate expulsion of all the teams from Uefa Competitions even those still involved in the ongoing 20/21 season. Time will tell.

Really? What exactly is your problem? Ghana decides which sports it wants to participate in. Do you have a problem with that? Are you the one to tell Ghana which sports to take seriously and which ones not to take seriously?

in any case, sporrts should be the least important thing in Nigeria at the moment. With all the gargantuan problems you think sports should be a priority for your country?Just asking. no vex

you guys are the deluded lot, not me. what do you know about football? You think football is all about ranting about "big players"?

When was the last time Nigeria beat Ghana? so what makes you think you can beat Ghana today? is it based on fact or pure sentiment?

and you are talking about me being deluded? what kind of nonsense is that? Its not today that Ghana has been playing Nigeria. You just came from nowhere claiming you will beat a team that had always beaten you, and you call the person trying to put sense into your head living in delusion?

that is your cup of tea cool every country will do what is best for its national interest. you guys think sports is what you want, go ahead. Other countries have different priorities.

As far as I am concerned, Ghana is doing fine. And Ghanaians are happy with direction their country is going. People don't get kidnapped on the streets, inflation is under control, the economy is the number one recipient of FDI in West Africa. The country is safe. I can go out and come back home any time or night. I can sleep with my two eyes closed. Life expectancy is great, school enrollment is at historic levels. electricity supply is good. To me, all these things are more important to me than sports

According to FIFA, Ghana is currently the 6th best team in Africa, and yet they say the team is crap!

They might not be angry with it, besides they are under contract and can risk losing money endorsements and other deals they have. See there's no way those clubs will be excluded from UEFA and FIFA competitions unless they want to lose money. I don't even think it's legally possible. Forget those heavy threats by angry people.

The ending of this is a compromise between UEFA and ESL, in a way that suits the both parties.

What money cannot do, too much money can do it.
