However, some people claimed the soldier's and police are defending Fulani herdsmen and state's like Ebonyi supports Fulani herdsmen. They believe the so called Ebubeagu is political arrangements by those criminals that called themselves politicians, with their political mentality to satisfy their Fulani masters.

A lot of questions have been asked by the Igbos like - Why did South East governors wait till now before the establishment of their Ebubeagu?
