I remembered when Arsen Wenger was warning the world against radical spending of huge amount of money on players. He said time will come like today when the issues of money will destroy the beautiful game of football.

Now this big clubs have spent huge amount on players plus the covid wahala and they are no more able to foot the bills. Now they are looking for escape route. Wenger was right afterall

Really interesting, I just gathered a few minutes ago that two English clubs wants to chicken out as they are beginning to have cold feet towards the ESL

People are jus being emotional and not realistic ... This whole saga is about more money for clubs.. Every Elite club needs more money to stay competitive.. We are in an era where paying 70 to 100m is now seen as normal with weekly salaries of over 150k the new normal. Barca is hugely in debt and cannot even buy new players and cannot continue to pay hefty wages. In the Premier league it is Man City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Others becos of the investments dey have made. In Spain it is Madrid and Barca, and it is the same all round. The heavy spenders are the ones at the top of the table. If U cannot guarantee them improved revenue they will get it elsewhere
What makes you think the ESL clubs if allowed to run the league won't still be indebted?

It's over for UEFA..
They should just focus their energy on European Championship.. UCL is a gonna

ESL we know
ESL we want.
However, ESL has its own share of disadvantages... Players will have to play more matches than usual..
Going by how the competition will go, clubs will play a minimum of 18 matches (and a maximum of 25 matches). Now add this figure to 38matches of domestic leagues plus FA and Carabo competition (for English teams).

Carano and FA cup would be played with second string team. They'll focus where the money is.

that's just a hallucination of some clowns on Twitter. You think billionaires do things without carefully thinking it through?
At first it was Barcelona fans blaming Perez until Perez revealed yesterday that he didn't even have to convince Barca president considering their difficulties. Then he no players will be banned and nobody is pulling out of anything that they've already signed everything. What you need to know now is that the British media are now trying to start a propaganda war /psychological operations to try and manipulate an outcome. Nothing is happening. In fact, Abramovich is in a yacht somewhere with 15 models drinking champagne and anticipating 3.5bn alert. You think billionaires cares about the emotional tantrums of clowns on Twitter?

The only thing I see wrong in creation of EPL is the fact that those 15 pioneers club can’t be relegated.. if they can amend that rule, it will be a big chnage

why would arsenalbe in any super competition in the first place?

Wilukipquiyet . Arsenal is still a big club despite their poor performance on the pitch, other than real Madrid, barca and utd I don't think there's other club that had more fanbase than Arsenal and don't forget they're in the top 10 of world most wealthiest clubs in the recent forbes rich list. Change is the only thing constant in this world, the sooner UEFA accept this fact the better for them. These big clubs are in financial crisis, huge debts and UEFA is milking all the money under there nose. No fans in the stadium so how do you expect clubs to generate money.
