SLAP44:Talk for yourself not for every igbo man. We the igbo have been very individualistic from time. Every man thinks and decides for himself so speak for yourself. Many of us live all over Nigeria. We own businesses and property in Yoruba and hausa land. I am not crazy about the biafra thing. My father fought in the war and I am not prepared for another war. I see nothing good in nnamdi kalu and his army of thugs. These guys are making the east more unsafe. Do I believe in one Nigeria? I really don't care but I care about my business and my safety. I don't want a war and I don't want to lose everything I have worked for over the years. Let's face it, igbo would lose the most if this biafran stupidity plays out. Do you think the yorubas would be so kind to let you claim your property? See what they are doing to us in Ghana, it would be 10 times worse. |

buckeyemedia:Israel started like this until they got Palestine. I don't care about your useless PDP and how they treat the South East, I care only about Biafra the land of the rising Sun. No one takes glory of what God does for His people. We are the children of God and are blessed by God only and not from PDP or satanic Nigeria government. God made it that way so none will say I made igbo rich like the South West made rich by federal finance |

Why are you warning us about imminent breakup of Nigeria? Isn't that your ultimate desire? Why don't you keep quiet and allow the FG to make the move that will end what you popularly called contraption? |

We will all manage ourself any region that want to continue the killing should continue. As for me Breakup is the option because there has never been unity in Nigeria it a force amalgamation of regions by a particular region because they have the power. We need to part ways that the only option right now. nairalander2020: |

SLAP44:Lol. Only if killing security agents and military officers, attacking correction institutions and setting hardened criminals free plus looting armoury count as being peaceful. Not to forget to mention setting police stations and patrol cars ablaze. And Ohaneze that has been keeping quiet all these while when government institutions were being attacked and destroyed just miraculously found their voice now that military are being deployed |

Tcwork:Igbos are individualistic yet we seem to act in unison even in our individual mindsets, because a typical Igbo puts the interest of Igboland ahead of selfish ones. You are very selfish person who puts your own interests ahead of those Igboland. No one forced you to invest in the North and Yorubaland or Igbophobic parts of SS. Ndiigbo have been preaching the message of Aku luo uno for the past decade but greedy and selfish ones among us who are more interested in ROI than in building Igboland have continued to invest heavily in the North and SW and then you wish the rest of us would stay in Nigeria so that your investments up there would be presevered? You are a joker. You and your ilks have but one vote and are in minute minority. You can have you say , but the rest of Igbos not driven by selfish agenda want Biafra and we would have our way in the end. If you know what is good for, better start investing in Igboland today, so that when all those things you have in SW and North and Igbophobic SS goes up in smoke, you can have something to rely on. I'm currently not in Igboland too, but I'm investing in Igboland for rainy days. No one else would develop Igboland but Ndiigbo. Rather than hating on your people for seeking for Biafra, better start investing home so that you would not be blackmailed into being na enemy of your people by the people you made investments in their lands. Mulu ako. |

dederocs:Why all this? The basis of our nationhood could be renegotiated if segment of the society is not satisfied. It's not by force Union. And that's the genesis of the struggle to enthrone a nascent society. Where this not possible, the dissatisfied section could take their exit from the Union. It's like a marriage fraught with difficulties. You call it quit when all attempts to salvage it fail. |

Igboid:I want to see you as a reasonable person so I would respond. You spoke about the interest of the igbo nation so let's talk about it. Lago's alone has a greater igbo population than any southeastern state so clearly lagos is part of the igbo interest and so with other states that have igbo business and property. We cannot begin a new nation in poverty. Then you called me selfish because I am not interested in losing my property to biafra. Well I rather be selfish than openly embrace poverty. We igbos detest porverty. It's not worth it. Then you accused me and millions of other igbo of not investing in igbo land. Let me take it that you know very little about business and investments. Only a fool chooses emotions over common sense in business. Business is all about opportunity. I found my opportunity in lagos and not in my village. I would not just establish a business for the sake of it. My first reason for starting a business is profit. Lagos provided that for me. Do you really expect me to leave my business relationships, my customers and the ground I have created here to start all over in Aba or Onitsha? How stupid would I be. Of course, if my business grows and spreads to the east I would be the happiest man on earth. But we don't force business, we grow business. Also I built my house so I don't keep paying rent and I also have tenants. My house in the east fetches me no rent. I stay there less than 2 week each year. I recently bought land in ogun state 4 agriculture at 100k an acre. You would never see such a deal in any part of the east. Look you don't force people to invest. If the east is good for my business, naturally I would come there. Lastly, you said I hate my people but there again you are wrong. I don't want my people to loss their wealth. I don't want millions to return to the village and die of hunger. Where would they start from? You are lucky, you have your business in the east. But you don't care about the tens of millions that don't and you claim to love your people. I responded to you because I want you to be honest with yourself. If you can answer this simple question... what would happen to the tens of millions of igbo's all over Nigeria. Again, are you ready for a second biafra war? Because I am not that brave. I rather continue peacefully with my small business in lagos and raise my kids in a good school here. Note.. the Niger delta is not really crazy about biafra. Remember what happened in Port Harcourt after the last war. They were the first to claim igbo property. Learn from history. |

Tcwork:I am in Lagos also...that is the most stupid thing Igbo did buying properties up and down I Lagos....Igbo ndụ nzuzu...go to amuwo odofin ....and see those traders Well, that would be collosal lost to the idiots....once the south east separates , we move , I will relocate and leave my small house here I said to myself all my investment will be in east and I have tiny house here in Lagos ...that is also what my friends did...they build massive investment in east and live in tiny houses here in Lagos Are You are among the idiotic Igbo that built massively in Lagos....find a way to sell off them now And stop ranting online. Tcwork:Stop giving excuses, it's people that create opportunities...well a I agree with you over emotions....the most sensible thing the South East Igbo want is their country, we in Lagos can either stay in Lagos or relocate By the way we have Nigerians in Ghana When they wanted to create Isreal, many Jews in the UK and USA asked this questions and they were against it. The Jews are far far richer than Igbo .. I am in Lagos also and I have my own company and planning to open another IT firm this year also But let me tell you,the Jews went ahead in 1945 found Isreal and today the country is developed Those Jews that were against the creation of Isreal like you ...some relocated and started afresh while some ploughed back their capital! Some stayed back that is why we have Russian Jews, American Jews , British Jews today ... These are the folks that stayed back but they have automatic visa to Isreal and their invest also in Isreal ....Facebook is a Jew, google is a Jew, Motorola js a Jew and many more...they are not based in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv So your case is even small.. the greater population of Igbo decides ,we have no choice than to align or be left ...I am also in the same Lagos . I have my own firm, but I can start all over in a new slate, I would see opportunities So my dear, we Igbo in Lagos will need stop the East from moving, we were just being stupid in Lagos...go to Mile 2 to Amuwo and all the way to Iyana isashi to Alaba Rago and see Igbo stupidity .we can't use our Lagos Igbo stupidity to stop the East from moving forward and many Igbo in east are doing fantastic more than the guys in Lagos and Abuja....go to east and see businesses and investment springing up...while we in Lagos are in rat race having owoda people to contend with Oga your argument is watery .. we must blame ourselves for our stupidity... For years I have been warning them , Aku ruo uno |
| Re: South East: Deployment Of Military May Lead To Nigeria’s Break Up – Ohanaeze by Tcwork: 9:17am On Apr 21, 2021 |
ariesbull:First you assume that being an igbo, you must see a need for biafra. Well, I dont. Next you compare the creation of biafra to that of Israel. That again is very faulty. In 1948, the Jewish nation was supported by USA and UK hence the Jews in this country found it very easy to move, their property and businesses were not disturbed. Here I have seen a powerful yoruba man tell me to my face, "if you guys create biafra, we would claim all your properties here." Then you mentioned Ghana. Are you aware of how igbo businesses areally being treated in Ghana? The igbo have more to loss than any other tribe. Now you made a big mistake in saying goes that the igbos moved to lags out of stupidity. You are 100% wrong. We moved to lagos, kano and other cities in search of opportunity. If we found such opportunity in igbo land, we would not have moved to lagos. Many of us left our village to lagos because we did not have such opportunities in our villages. No body is in lagos because lagos is too fine. We are all here because of the ease of doing business and the infrastructure. Still talking about the jews, I see you love to compare us with the jews. Did you know that the population of jews in USA is very close to that of jews in Israel. The jews were smart not to burn that bridge. They did not all return to Isreal. Much of the money that was used in building Israel came from jews in USA. If we leave Nigeria today, we would loss all we have. The yoruba and hausa wouldn't be so kind to return our property. Again, you claim that majority of igbos support biafra, my brother I am not sure we ever had an election. We do not know how many igbos support biafra and how many dont. Finally, creating a new country is just the first stage. Just look at south sudan. As a new country we would face new challenges. New problems. It wouldn't be milk and honey. |
| Re: South East: Deployment Of Military May Lead To Nigeria’s Break Up – Ohanaeze by Tcwork: 9:27am On Apr 21, 2021 |
ariesbull:Talk is cheap. You are angry with another man for buying property with his own money. Are you a dictator. That's the problem with you biafra kids you expect everyone to reason and act like you. We igbos are free minded people. Go and read your history, igbos democracy is one of the oldest in the world. We don't need your king nnamdi kalu to teach us where to build our houses or invest our business. Funny thing, nnamdi kalu is well invested in UK and even has a British passport and you feel you have the moral rights to tell or command any igbo. You want to teach us where to do business. I wonder the kind of biafra you would build with kalu as your dictator. The reason why igbos economy grew was because we were able to spread very quickly across Nigeria after the war. One more thing, I noticed that you biafra guys are very insulting, it's as if the worst of igboland came together for this biafra business. |
