If Nigeria can get these three things right, companies will start coming. The human capital is in abundant and people are ready to work.

SOUTHERN NIGERIA + MIDDLEBELT are not interesting in living in the same country with the HAUSA + FULANI who are so backward.

RESTRUCTURING, CONFEDERALISM AND FULL INDEPENDENCE

should be the demand of the south.

once that is achieve.

we can talk of companies coming to Nigeria.

For now they can go to Ghana, Kenya, South Africa.

Twitter is already in Ghana.

Amazon is heading to South Africa ( Southy Land )

NORTHERNERS who are so hell bent on one Nigeria are the main problem of Nigeria beyond the corruption of the political class which affects both north and southern part of Nigeria.

Were I an upcoming music star weighing up the long term greater finical gains accrued from Publicity versus the short-term financial gains accrued by the one-off large crowd attendance at my concert, I would plumb for publicity. The way I would generate publicity would be to announce that I'm going to hold a great concert in Africa but I’m not going to Nigeria. After this, I would sit back and let Africans that hate Nigeria and Nigerians that exploit negative news about Nigeria for their own political aims take to social media in celebration. Free publicity for my brand. In fact I doubt paid publicity would do a better job than Africans and Nigerians taking to social media.

Blame the government not! Blame yahoo boys and those defacing Nigeria with their absurdities.

So yahoo boys prevented the government from creating a condusive environments that businesses can thrive. Constant electricity, good roads, polution, security, and quality healthcare services, and honest government. These are the things private sectors consider before opening/relocating their businesses to a foreign land. Unfortunately, nigeria lacks all of these, including one of the most corrrupt government in the world. India and Russia and China have the highest online scammers in the world, yet a lot of foreign businesses are relocating there. Does Nigeria has taxation transperancy? Nigerian governmen is the reason why almost 98% Nigerian graduates and youths have no job. They refuse to clean the system and encourage private and foreign businesses to come in. You cannot continue to do things the same way and expect a different results. Do you know how many jobs twitter will create in GHANA and Amazon in South Africa? So my sis leave yahoo people out of this. Blame your past and present leaders!

That's billions of dollar investment lost meeen. I've not even talked of twitter who chose Ghana recently. E be like say the next African giants would either be Ghana and South Africa. We are waiting for a comment from our dear daddy huncle lier muhamed on this. I'm happy DHL didn't choose Ghana as their West African hub a few years back when things were still normal. Dem for don commot for Ghana, to say na now dem wan take that kain decision...you know what? They might still leave and nothing would happen.

Because we actually ARE a plague!! Whether you like it or not:

No electricity
No pipe borne water
Urban development is a shambles
Roads are a mess
Ports are a mess
No rail network
Airlines cannot survive
Airports are barely surviving
Insecurity (kidnapping, herdsmen, armed robbers, areas boys, cultists)
Poverty capital of the world
Highest number of out of school children
Healthcare is a shambles

am not happy jare. This is a billion investment. We've missed that slot already. Last week it was news about twitter choosing Ghana. Who did we offend in this country? Major investments are bypassing us this is a huge loss. If only those who love this country should know what amazon and twitter are worth, they'd have been crying

YES!!!! They are the major problem of Nigeria!!! Travel and see how much Nigerians are being hated by foreigners due to the high fraudulent activities going on within and outside.
I do not expect any sane foreigner to invest in Nigeria! Don’t blame the government, blame yourselves.

Stop justifying your illicit actions.
