Bro I'm sorry to say, but you're a very stupid person. You can see clearly that foreign interests and investors are running away and avoiding Nigeria, but all you're worried about is who will complain about it. Does that negate the fact that this country is on steady retrogression? Nigeria used to be the choice location for foreign interests in Africa so much so that other African countries started to envy us. Today, no one wants to come close to us but it's okay by you as long as it's your guy that's running the country aground. One thing that I'm happy about is that all of us will bear the brunt, except you travel out, na all of us go suffer am last last

Which reasonable investor will choose a nation whose national assembly is entertaining discuss on how to implement a data base for Cow?
When the youths of a nation remain docile, the crooked and expired politicians will continue to seat on their destiny.
In the case of Nigeria, even another 100 years more will not bring the youths to speak in one voice.
That's why IPOB is calling for regional revolution. For us in SE, there's no going back until we are free from Nigeria, and nothing can stop us from that either in peace or in pieces

This was announced a year or two ago, already. Guess its newsworthy coz Twitter went to Ghana.

It is exactly. It is called perspective. When an aircraft falls out of the sky all previous incidents are uncovered for patterns that suggest cause. It is only the unintelligent that views things like these in isolation.

Illiterates like Buhari and his team are not aware that these are the entities that create the jobs in the western world. A stupid dumb person like Lie Muhammed will soon open his mouth that looks like expired ashawo toto with extra mileage to make noise that Endsars caused this. It's even worse the president lacks the mental ability to hold conversation with 9 years old girl or boy, but mentally sound enough to elect terrorists into his government.

Nigeria isn't a safe place for business to thrive.
Where in Nigeria can Amazon setup their facility, is Lagos that is infested with crazy agberos and very bad roads or rivers where all their workers will be kidnapped .

Nigeria is the preeminent importer of goods and services on the continent. It cannot make sense to locate a logistics company outside our customs borders. It will simply make their goods more expensive to sell here.

They know this logic but the overwhelming challenges this country faces must have tilted their opinion away.

This is practically what we call the cost of doing business in Nigeria which Amazon will face as well. Nigeria is seriously hostile to investment. There are few things beyond the large but tragically poor population that attracts.

If we are not careful all future investment will amount to more than the production of diapers and 'durex'....if you catch the sad drift.

With the onset of AFCTA, customs borders are largely irrelevant...

Nonetheless, I agree with the ease of doing business argument. One of the world’s largest logistics companies (Agility, which is operational in over 100 countries worldwide) has been working on a logistics hub in Nigeria, and it’s been torture for them. I think it is unrealistic for Nigerians to think that every major multinational should be headquartered in Nigeria. There are so many (and sometimes peculiar) considerations in locating an office, and no nation (not even the US) will always come out it trumps in these decisions. Nigeria should primarily concentrate on creating a great business enabling environment for NIGERIANS! Attracting foreigners should simply be a ‘natural’ byproduct thereto.
