Why Didn't God Kill The Devil? by Jayrockk: 12:38pm On Apr 22, 2021
I'm a Christian and I believe God is perfect in all ramifications, but sometimes when i start to think of the evil that has happened, and the evil happening these days I tell myself this could have been avoided if God destroyed the devil. I ask myself why God didn't kill the devil and also why was the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden in the first place. I know the devil is the cause of evil but sometimes I blame God for what's happening and doubt His existence sometimes, but then deep down i know He is real. So religious experts in the house what's your say about this?

The Devil is the cause of Evil or Man's disobedience is the door that let Evil to having more control over our existence than it was made tow wield? undecided

If by devil, you mean Satan, then he was created so even from the beginning as he is today. I am not certain there was even a time when he was not as he is today. He wa made for God's purpose and that purpose he serves even to this day, so why would God need to kill him? undecided

Satan cannot die, killed or cease to exist, because God created him as an eternal being. Satan will live eternally in anguish separated from God.

well if the forbidden fruit wasn't in the garden in the first place we won't be having this discussion, would we?

The forbidden fruit has little or nothing to do with him, you know. Try to think carefully of what really took place. Here is a creature who carried out, effectively, the plan and purpose for which he was made for Man's story.

Remember, he was created to serve a purpose and that purpose is what I believe he continues to serve, so why kill him for doing, probably well, that which he was made to do? undecided

If God cannot kill Satan, then stop saying there is nothing impossible for God.

What a powerless God. grin

My Brother, GOD is GOD.
HE is our CREATOR.
Whatever HE Decides He does.
We creatures cannot Question what HE HE decides to Do. Our Assignment is to Obey what HE tells us to do.

When we get to Heaven, we can ask him whatever we want.

When God created Lucifer, He created an eternal being. God did not create him to die or cease to exist, but to live forever. Ezekiel 28 tells how Lucifer was created perfect and then iniquity was found in him (see also Isaiah 14:12-15).

Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 18 have nothing to do with a "Lucifer" character but instead are dirges sung by God to Kings- King of Babylon and King of Tyre respectively. undecided

May God forgive you. Pray for the holy Spirit so as to aid you to look beyond what you see and easy understanding of God's words. Remember to give your life to Christ.

God certainly did know all these things would happen. He is all-knowing. Nothing escapes His notice, and Satan and his cohorts will live eternally in anguish separated from God.

You think, how can a smart and omniscience god create his eternal enemy?

Is that also part of the divine plan?

So one this premise we can conclude that God deliberately want his people to suffer or probably he’s a playing games of who goes to hell or who doesn’t.

Is that his divine plan?

Though people have speculated as to why God allowed these things to happen, ultimately we do not know the answer. He has not chosen to reveal it to us. We do know that God has all knowledge, and that He did know that this angel would rebel and would cause so much grief and suffering. Because the Lord tells us that His ways are not our ways.

First of all, people also speculate that a God exist but we don’t know.

You have to prove that he exist first before asserting his actions.

God not only exists, but also He has communicated that fact to us. He has told us all about who He is, what He is like, and what His plan is for planet Earth.

He has revealed these things to mankind through the Bible. The Bible has demonstrated itself to be more than a mere book; it is the actual Word of God. The evidence is more than convincing to anyone who will honestly consider its claims.

Another reason that we know God exists is because He has appeared in human flesh. Jesus Christ was God Almighty who became a man. The Bible says, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14, RSV), and it is clear about the fact that Jesus came to Earth to reveal who God is and what He is all about (John 1:18).

The Bible is not evidence that God exist.

The stories in the Bible are not reliable sources of evidence

The Bible cannot be truer than any other religious book, there’s no basis to say that the Bible is authentic while others are false.

They are all your opinions

There are at least two evidences. One is creation. It is scientifically impossible for Nature to create itself.

The second is your conscience. God has given you moral knowledge of right and wrong.

Theres is no evidence for creation as well.

What we know in science are two hypotheses of Abiogenesis and panspermia and then theory of Evolution.

No evidence that anything was created. Your conscience is not evidence, it’s your opinion about things
