Nigeria is like a 37 member family where only one family member earns money through majorly one source of income. Others come to collect monthly allocation. Every state in Nigeria has the potential to generate income through resources in their domain but no, they must depend on Niger Delta oil only. Let every state manage resources in their domain and pay tax to the federal government and let states challenge themselves competitively. |

Mynd44:But he said the truth, even though they denied it. Nigeria is broke so, no money to share anymore. Politics is becoming less lucrative. Every state should look inwards and boost their IGR |

Moferere:Are they going to print money this April too, and many months to come after April? Obaseki misyarn. Eriokanmi:What truth? Even when crude oil price crashed with barrel selling as low as 10 dollars, there was no allegation of money printing. Today oil selling above 60 dollars per barrel plus other sources of revenue, I don't think there is any need to print money to augment monthly allocation. |

superlanny:Thank you. They keep saying that there is no money, what if there would be money. The introduction of N50 electronic transaction charges, formerly known as stamp duty runs into billions of Naira monthly. |

Obaseki should always get his information right before disclosure, CBN has debunked the claim of printing some amount of money. |

I noticed this Obaseki character has big verbal wars with ppl instead of stating the progress of Edo under his leadership. First it was Oshiomhole and now his focus is on Emefiele. Good to see Oga Adams has gone very quiet these days and is enjoying high quality home life . ![]()

Now they can beg, these governors are just shameless, you are being spoonfed by the FG and you still have the effrontery to spew trash that they are printing such a huge amount of money. SO you people can beg. Obaseki really disappoint me, ''did he even go school sef''? You people can generate satisfactory or reasonable IGR in your state argh! tooo baaaadddd |

maasoap:Indeed! When crude per barrel was as low as 10USD, how many government agencies were in operation? Salary was even slashed by the government during this time, have you forgotten? No phcn bills to pay, no diezle to buy, no operations cost of govt and no sitting allowance by law makers because everyone was at home. Those measures alone were enough to counterbalance whatever shortfall encountered. I'd have agreed with you that obaseki "misyarn" had the CBN governor not said outrightly that what he did was in order...to keep our economy at bay. He said this because he wanted to prove he's not a poetician as he claimed, but a banker employed to do his job professionally. |

Must every wrong be covered up. Some needs to be exposed for the interest of the greater good of the country. This exposure has done more good to Nigeria giving the outrage it generated thereby putting the govt in check if they are really interested in the good of the nation. Quality20: |

Quality20:Oshiomhole told Nigerians about him, we all said Oshiomhole is power drunk but now i begin to realize what the khaki man was saying. The state university staffs have been on strike all this while, he closed the state school of health technology e.t.c They augmented monthly allocation for them (governors) of which he is highest benefactor as oil producing states he came out trying to give some people orgasm. Is like head is paining some people in this country not to know the obvious. |
