Kelechi has now reached 30 premier league goals. Can he catch or surpass Yakubu? Tough ask but age and time is still on his side. Needs to work more on his right foot.
Consistency is what's key here. If Kels can carry on these performances into the next season and consistently put up double digits each season, then it is most certainly possible.

Hello , his form has been good but a hybrid of Messi and Ronaldo or better than Mbappe ? Miss me with that bs
Fair enough,
Paradventure he continue in his good form and outscores every other African players in the premier league this year ,do u think he should be awarded the best African footballer of the year award?

Can def play as a CM in a 4-3-3 but not in a midfield 2.
I don't think he has ever played CM

C. Ronaldo is a profilic goalscorer, just like Onuachu. That's how i sees and know him, so he doesn't deserve to be among my list of even top 10 greats. Someone who has scored only 5 goals or so from outside the 18 yard box in about 3 seasons while Messi has scored more than 20. He has played about 3 other seasons without scoring a free kick and he hardly completes more than 2 dribbles per matches for more than 2 seasons. And you are mentioning him with messi that scores, assist, creates, dribbles and does everything in a match. Ronaldo is as good as being useless in a match if he is not scoring. Mention a match in the past 5 seasons that Ronaldo has won MOTM without scoring? That should tells you aside goalscoring, he is mostly useless in a match and that isn't a criteria to judge someone to be mentioned among greats
Oga, you don't even have sense to mention messi and ronaldo in the same sentence
Your last sentence though, ironically ,messi and ronaldo r the most mentioned names in the same sentence in the world of football, just like okocha and kanu in nigeria footbal .

The truth is that those who talk and think less of okocha's greatness in football are those who never watched him in live matches,or simply they don't want to acknowledge the truth.
They are some players that have won african footballer of the year once or twince but are no longer mentioned whenever african greats are being discussed, but today whenever such topics pops up,okocha's name will always b there.

But seriously, why do nacho seem to switch off most times during games!!.. His game seem to improve only after he scores
Hope you know cr7 does nothing in games than to score ?

If nacho can be scoring then we should forget about that

And If his goals dries up, he returns to being a squad player.. Cos his only contribution is goals.
He needs to improve his All round play to avoid that..

That's a little bit unfair KC has 5 assists this season so far plus I have seen him lay it on a plate for a couple of players these past few match days. If their finishing had been sharper he would have easily entered double figures for assists.

yeah I've noticed that too but well not every footballer is the same. Nacho is probably one of those types that can seem to be inactive for large portions of a match then suddenly spring to life with devastating effect.

Is that not a psychological defect? Or is it a good thing... He needs to overcome this seriously..

can he improve on it? I guess but my philosophy to these things are if you are delivering as a player consistently then I can live with your small imperfections.

That's the issue! See vardy for instance, his goals dries up, but his overall contributions to team play remains top notch...I want same for nacho!
I want goal involvements!, I want 90 mins concentration, link up plays etc..

Maddison has played as a CM a few times. Played there against Chelsea.
Anyway, Olise has the engine to be a b2b midfielder.

forgiveness:
If Messi played in that era he would have gotten life threatened injury because players were not much protected.

Respect Pele. Messi and co still never reach em level not to talk of Iniesta.
All things being equal ,
All these greats are on the same level:
MESSI.
PELE.
MARADONA.
ZIDAN.
RONALDINHO .
RONALDO 9
RONALDO 7

Second level fOLlowed bY the likes of
CRUYFF.
BENKENBAUER.
PLATINI

then third level
XAVI.
BAGIO.
RIVALDO.
FIGO.
DI STAFANO.
VAN BASTEN.
INIESTA
MALDINI.
MULLER.
CARLOS.
CAFU .
GARRINCHA.
KAKA.
Etc.

Maddison didn't play CM against Chelsea, he always plays around the edge of the 18 yard box, Olise's best quality are his vision and guile not exactly the characteristics of a b2b

Olise has massive strides. He can run with the ball over great distances.

Yes he can progress the ball but that doesn't exactly qualify him as a b2b, can he tackle and help the defence like Tielemans?

He can when he wants to. He just doesn't do it regularly enough.

It is not his game so why limit his abilities in a particular position when you can play him where he likes to play

A CM in a 4-3-3 wouldn't limit him.
