You buy cloth for shop, you return ham after 2wks , them still give you change ontop the mata, say the cloth price don reduce since you buy ham.
I wonder if a very honest Nigerian will do that.
They will say God don answer their prayers.
Am not sure if I will do that either.

These guys are something amazing most times. We went shopping stuffs for Christmas tree sometimes last December, there was this glass stuff like balls...well, we were not sure if it was glass or rubber as hubby touched it the thing just did werenweren and broke...8pounds, my head don say 4000 naira jona, the mall attendant just came and said oh...hope you were not injured, we then asked how much to pay, she said no worries, it was an accident. Me wey don dey look how those foodco Are area Ibadan go lambast person, nah like magic it do me ohh..

Also, there was a day I just felt I couldn't do all these wakas in a shopping mall, I went to the security guy I saw there to ask how much their shopping scooters were, he just told me to wait, went for the key, disconnected it from charging point, I asked again how much per hour, he said, nooo, they are free. Then he explained the working modalities to me. Told me to call on any official if I got stuck along the way. Nah so I turned driver olokada inside mall oh.

*Been in Deutschland getting to 3 years now, not sure I have witnessed vehicle honking up 3 times, I am trying to be realistic cus I can only recall hearing that once.

*PDA - yup, as we see on tv, its a norm here although arguably Germans are not big on that.

*Mind your business is taken to a whole new level here, for instance, I once witnessed an old woman fall while entering a train and ppl around her didn't even blink or offer assistance. It was a friend(nigerian) that helped her up. In my opinion this affects there social life.

*I do side hustles like helping with relocation and a typical German family will offer you food/drinks and will be actively involved with the work.

*There's this small Church I used to attend with friends, the pattern of service is just peaceful and short. After service (every Sunday) they will entertain everyone with food and drinks.

*Weather dictates your mode of dressing, as a foriegner, weather and travel connection apps are super important.

*Summer is really lively here and ppl are generally happier. Even as a Nigerian, you'll be praying for sunny days to quick come.

*Neat environment - this is not news but I was more interested in how the ppl contribute to this. Well ppl are generally well behaved in this aspect.

*Germans love Bier! So many beer brands here too.

Do they love getting drink too?

There is no ban on Nigerians who want to migrate to Canada. Just make sure your profile points is very high. Someone is about to leave next month and met the points needed by them .

I have had the experience twice where a Nigerian man will purposely sold to me a faulty phone. In one case when I return the phone within 12 hours of purchase the guy tried to scam me by telling me that i was the one that spoil the phone. After much pressure he agree to refund me

Black nation will never progress because of their extreme greed

Right from the onset, he kwns what he is doing.
This kind of attitude is so rampant with us.
Even the whites has their own for body ,the difference is that every crime committed over there, when caught, you pay dearly for it.

There are relatively a lot of practices here in Africa and particularly Nigeria that are considered awkward or insane in other advanced nations.

Walking down to my apartment after coming down from public bus, with two full bags of groceries, I was practically limping cos I somehow managed to sprain my ankle. A police officer stopped to offer me a ride. I went into supersonic shock for few seconds, my mind was trying to see where I broke the law, I couldn't even utter a word...i nodded, yes. He came down took my groceries put them in his trunk and I sat at the back. The front passenger seat was full of gadgets. It was the most confusing ride I have had, he dropped me in front of my apartment, brought out my bags handed over to me and said good bye.

Fear catch me....mehn those ford police SUV, are almost as sophisticated as a cockpit of a plane grin

By the way, this was in Calgary Alberta. Canada.

Let me share mine.
My first time outside Nigeria. I was in the UK some years ago in the Croydon area. I was in a bus but lost in thought about things to do and all that. I was also sitting close to the exit. Suddenly from my deep state of thinking I heard my bus stop, I shouted “owa o” as if I am in molue bus and rushed to the exit. All the oyinbo were looking at me while the Nigerians in the bus had this look on their face that says “you don f..k up”. Lol. I just bone.
grin grin you gat me there bro

But why must we ditch our culture just because we are outside of our country, Chinese, Japanese, etc bow when they greet, Indians and co put their hands together to greet and everybody all over the world know this!
Indians and some Arabs wear turbans and it is not a shock for them to wear it outside of their country!
Why is it that our ways of greeting is an embarrassement to us outside of our land? I can understand the embarrassement in the use of SIR and MA during greetings because it is not our culture, we borrowed and over use it.
If I bow down to greet a foreign elder and the person is embarrassed, I will rather sit the person down and teach him or her my culture.
If any young person travel abroad and come back to start calling me by my first name. Hmmm hen, they way I will flog or talk to the young person, surely he or she will be culture-shocked second time!
Most things in our culture suck. I hate em. Na by force to greet? Some Nigerians will wait for you to greet them every morning as if you are giving them breakfast. Its so annoying.
