Willie007:the Bible says resist the devil and he will flee but if you don't resist him,he will be growing wings everyday and before you know it, Tinu** will have the audacity to say he owns all lands in SS and SE and while you're still thinking of calling him to order he will bring one of his mercenaries from Ondo State in collusion with some of your Politicians to make him a governor in your state or local government chairman and if you dare resist they'll label you an enemy of the state that wants to disrupt the peace and progress of the state 1 Like 1 Share |

Benwems: There's no Truth in what you said... Nigerian doctors are one of the finest abroad What you said have no colleration with the topic.. it's not a reason why our healthcare should be in shambles... That your father drinks and talks unguardedly in a bar ... Doesn't mean others do it And shouldn't be the reason why hospitals shouldn't be in a good shape... I have met a lot of zombies on this forum You are the worst of them of all.. You are soul less Go back and read what you wrote... Do it slowly and think 1 Like |

I am happy the opening post referred to doctors from Nigeria as professional going by how we excel abroad. Its only in this hellhole of a country that they are treated as worthless Every thing boils down to leadership See what Ransome Kuti did in the 90s. Na two head him get ni. They even pointed to a working system in Lagos So if it can work there it can work in any part of Nigeria But alas our problems is summarized thus For whatever is not working in this country, we have people benefiting from it |

Benwems: You hit the nail on the head.... it's not by equipping hospitals.... the people to handle, manage and the run the equipment and hospitals are still lazy greedy and wicked so it's not by buying equipment. For healthcare to improve in Nigeria, the Nigerians need to change their culture and attitude to life. 1 Like |

Benwems: So you've been so ill that you've seen all the doctors in Nigeria, ba? Doctors are humans and they are flawed everywhere. The doctor that wanted to take a court session on zoom whilst operating on a patient, was he also a Nigerian or is that not unprofessional enough for you. You people will take the action of one person and tag everyone else with it. The bad ones should change, yes, but the system that creates them should be reviewed and most importantly, the good ones should be commended... and that's the vast majority of them. Some of them are literally paying for patient's care with their own money and spending their freetime with patients... unfortunately many of those same patients are the likes of you. Bunch of wasted effort. No wonder shaa, as it seems drinking beer every night is your own life plan so you're expected to know only the likes of you. Birds of the same cardigan |

Re: Equip Hospitals, End Medical Tourism by BigBashiru: 8:52am On Apr 25, 2021 |
ALISMILE: Funding is not the issue. Even with funding, equipment will still be poorly maintained. This is due to general laziness in the system..... anyone who wants to create a culture of hardwork and accountability is ganged up against by coworkers and fired |

BigBashiru:I wonder how you guys reason.. Because you have this notion that the equipment won’t be maintained, then the hospitals should not be equipped? Pls make me understand what you are saying.. |
Re: Equip Hospitals, End Medical Tourism by BigBashiru: 10:07am On Apr 25, 2021 |
williams85: First off I thank you for not resorting to abuse, insult, personal attacks and such - this means we can have a civil conversation. There's something called Business Intelligence - in BI you get information out of past data and use that to inform future decisions. From 1960 to 2021, the various equipment that have been installed in hospitals and various equipment upgrades, where are they now?? This data suggests just having equipment is ineffective - there needs to be dedicated staff preferably non Nigerian (that's what the data says!) to manage both the entire hospitals and equipment. If Nigerians want to remain no 1 for priority hiring then they need to have the same attitude to work as their international counterparts. 1 Like |

You all are hypocrites, why not ask your representatives, governors, judges and senior management staff at the government level if they don’t have a line item budget to travel overseas for medical treatment. Start from there before shouting on top of your lungs because the President went overseas for treatment. For your information, all Presidents, many National Assembly members, the Justices travel overseas for medical. Wise up, don’t be used and dumped as a fool by this politicians and so called activists for hire. |
