Don't make that mistake. Keep your remote job, it ll help you financially as side hustle.

1) has your mda captured the new intake/intakes salaries in the agency's yearly financial cycle.

2) you may get the arrears of your salary depending on the agency's arrangement with ippis, or not!.

3) ippis is only for federal government workers and has no concern with private employment.

4) you do not have to wait 12 months to start receiving salary once enrolled on ippis. check (1) above.

How true is this I doubt this. We resumed at my office in January, we did capturing same January, got our first pay( one month) last month. They jus paid us for this month and the remaining 2 months arrears

Some civil service jobs are really tasking(mostly agencies and parastatals).

Majority of the parastatals and agencies are seriously overstaffed due to massive backdoor nepotistic recruitments. Most times in the service you work if you want to because there are just too many people for the few office tasks.

Only time you are a little busy is if there is an event or project being undertaken by your agency. Most of the time you just come to work and gist your life away till retirement.

Many civil servants have side hustles keeping them busy apart from the job. The OP should do same.

I'll advise that if your remote job is flexible enough don't quit it. IPPIS doesn't investigate if you are receiving payments from a private source only government sources.

Its either Nigeria is broke or an embargo was placed on enrolling staff into the ipps.

When I got a federal job it took 4 months before they started paying me. They paid the salary including the arrears on the 4th month

How would they know it's Salary? Because I am not using the same bank accounts and at no point did they ask us to submit BVN. Does that mean you can't receive any other income as a government worker?

Also, it's not that I don't go to work or something. My name has always been on the attendance sheet since I resumed and I close at the right time. I have never missed work even for a single day

Most of my remote job, I do it at home etc.
