Watching Chuks today against Xhaka, he needs to work on his right foot and also learn to come infield sometimes.
The hardest thing in the world for a left footer. I think the strongest right foot of a left footer I've seen should be Mahrez but it's hardly on target and he can't even pass or trap the ball with it (the right foot).

Imagine, Even Ekoku that was banging in goals in the EPL was a bench warmer in the SE. He can only convince those born after 2003 with such assertions. The 90s squad was one of the strongest SE squads and they would have achieved a lot more had it not been for Sani Abacha's madness
I see where people are getting things wrong. They're using a player performances for his club to rate his value for his country even though some players perform extremely good at their club and flop at their country. For example, the likes efan, okuwobiri that you guys are comparing to osimhen Flopped at SE and excelled at their clubside.

I did not compare Ekoku with Osimhen, I merely pointed out the fact that a lot of Strikers were doing well in Europe in the 90s but still couldn't displace Yekini in the SE. Players like Akpoborie were banging in goals for their clubside but still couldn't cut it with Yekini in that era. Besides I don't get the essence of these stupid comparisons, who will you guys compare next, that Chukwueze would start ahead of Finidi?

You are highly delusional, you feel the need to exclude the laurels to fit and conveniently support your argument as if they aren't facts. Also Ndidi being the best DM for Nigeria, you must be a clown

Their club performance in this situation is simply irrelevant and I'm judging based on their Super Eagles performance after 10 games as a trajectory for their future performances. I have been watching Super Eagles since the 1990's and after 10 games the best striker thus far is Osimehn with a record of 5 goals and 5 assist in 10. 1/2 record and also his overall contributions. Using that metrics, it's fair to say that osimehn will make any super eagles team from the 1990's upward until today and his career is just getting started. The likes of obagoal, Aghawonder were goal scorers in their early games for SE but their overall contribution wasn't significant as osimehn.

So did Bright Dike, he scored 1 goal in 2 games for the SE, using your metrics he would have been a starter in the 90s for the SE. Stop being ridiculous, the likes of Obagoal and even Ike Uche were exceptional in the SE colours but it will be ignorant of someone to say that they would have been starters for the SE in the 90s.

What was his overall contribution to super eagles in that short period of time? How many assist, Chances did he create? I am not even using only osimehn goals but his overall contribution and this is someone that's genuinely young, just starting his career imagine he gives SE 10 years going by his trajectory

So now you are shifting the goal post, he contributed the same ratio that would have qualified him using your metrics. Even players like Victor Agali and Aghahowa had similar ratios that would have qualified them as well. Osimhen's current contributions have been exceptional for the SE, but in what way do you hope to relate it with something happened before he was born. I don't know when you started watching the SE but a lot of players in different eras have contributed their part throughout the SE. Let Osimhen focus on his era which is now and stop bringing up comparisons that don't make sense

Yekini scored 14 goals in 10 matches minus assists.

How about that?

A one legged Martins scored the winning goal that qualified Nigeria to the 2010 World Cup.

Aghawonder as you say was reliable striker to deliver in a match. We saw how he contributed to get to the 2000 AFCON finals.

Sir..I have seen a more ridiculous penalty call than this . Moreso, there was a contact . Sadly, we are in an era where even a pat at the back in the penalty box can earn a player a penalty.

Some of our past players we are praising to high heaven's today, if they were playing in this generation and with the stats they had then mostly for their club sides, there is no way most of them would have been invited to the SE.
I just checked Aghahowa stats, even when he was proclaimed hot at shahktar Donesk, he scored only 40+ goals in 7 seasons with them and scored none when he played about 20 games for Wigan. Aghahowa have about 50 goals in his club career playing in Europe that spanned more than 10 years.

Even the stats martins had then, there is no way he would have been a starter in this current SE, he will be invited to this current SE simply because of his talent, not because he is worth it with his goalscoring prowess.
The only striker whose stats will still stand tall today is Yakubu.

So going by club stats, Osimhen will start in the SE from 2000 to now.
Iheanacho, Simy, Moffi and Onuachu will make all the teams...club stats wise

I get you bro but practice make perfect. He should work on it. Saka is a left footer like him but he sometimes cross with his right. He even scored a classic goal against Chelsea with his right.
