Insecurity: Uzodinma Takes Refuge In Abuja by dre11(m): 7:09am On Apr 30, 2021 |
as appointees go underground, sirens disappear in Owerri For nearly one week, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has remained in Abuja, following the killing of the commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and the subsequent torching of his private residence. Uzodinma has remained in Abuja, in spite of the escalation of violent attacks and major security concerns in Imo state. https://www.newtelegraphng.com/insecurity-uzodinma-takes-refuge-in-abuja/ 56 Likes 4 Shares

Because of the large number of security personnel they move with, Governors were seeing themselves as gods but what is happening so far has shown them they are humans just like others even their macho looking security men can't save them from the coming winter. The white walkers are here already. The men on watch are getting devoured. 302 Likes 21 Shares |

Mixedfruit: It's called tactical advantage. From Abuja he's getting intel on his assailants, the IPOB and ESN miscreants. He knew that there would be reprisal attack for slaughtering the IPOB commander Ikonson. The interesting thing about a leader is just as Kanu is abroad instructing his foot soldiers to kill policemen and security aides in the East, the govt likewise from Abuja is giving instructions in the best interest of his state from Abuja. Obviously there's no reasoning with Kanu cos when you have a man blinded by the blind idea of Biafra who also has the support of angry and frustrated Igbo youths, you cannot even negotiate. But the advantage the governor has is a higher fire power and Intel. If there's the need to drop more of IPOB/ESN henchmen, he will definitely see it fit to protect his peaceful citizens. Cos clearly not all igbos support Kanu. 10 Likes 12 Shares |

Safety first. If you expect him to stay in the state in the wake of all these tension and insecurity, then you need to recheck your brain. Anyway, he brought this to himself, he was over doing, the people were pushed heavily to the wall 14 Likes 2 Shares |

imo case is something else. Supreme Court did something unusual in Imo State. Hope hasn't been a good person right from time, I was shocked when a friend called from Aussie to tell me about it. Ruling a state with revenge isn't good, I wish we that will soon see ourselves in other respective offices in the future won't go there seeking for revenge. This is the main thing disturbing APC and Nigerians... We should extinguish bitterness from our heart and move forward when we see ourselves ahead of our rivals 154 Likes 12 Shares |

Inspite of all these and the palpably tense atmosphere in Imo, Governor Hope Uzodinma has remained in Abuja while the state burns. Similarly, his appointees – commissioners and advisers – seem to have all gone underground. This is also as the usually rampant blaring of sirens by Very Important Personalities (VIPs) have relatively disappeared from the city of Owerri. With the foregoing also, there are indications that political bigwigs especially those occupying key public offices may have left the state, those who remain is said to have relocated their families out of the state. They should all be chased back from wherever they ran to to tackle the insurgency in their abode. Why run to Abuja? Hope should start fighting this violent crimes, shedding of innocent citizen's blood by following what Wike started 24 hours ago in Rivers State. That will be the very first step to stop the madness by criminals in the states and more hardened criminals being released from prisons. Hope, start with the below and above... Protect innocent Igbos families in your state. Don't allow a coward animal and his brainwashed followers he addressed as swines hold your state in ransom.... ACT NOW! 5 Likes 5 Shares

In Benin we say "or fo" Meaning it's finished BUT I still wonder how a governor will sell out his own blood people to be targeted and slain. You don't expect to snitch on your people and not have a bullet target at the back of your head. How can you snitch on your people oh ye southerners and easterners and Westerners, haven't seen you seen the support the North gives to the north. Why is the other 3 regions so myopic and senseless. They say 2 can play that game. 65 Likes 6 Shares |
