Hi guys. The purpose of this thread is not to show off or brag tongue but to show South Africa in pictures so we can all learn and understand the complexities of the country, its turbulent history and the ongoing struggle for equality. SA is a unique country and continues to fascinate and lure many from our continent to seek opportunities with varying degrees of success.

It's no longer called Grahamstown dude, it's had a new name for 4 years or so. It looks nice though, I wonder if their world-famous Arts Festival will survive Covid.

What's really unfortunate is that apartheid was brutal and excluded the majority of our population from participating in the economy. We just celebrated 27 years of democracy and looking back, much has been achieved but still much to be done by way of economic parity.

Black and SAs now comprise the majority of the middle classes and lifestyles estates are booming to cater to this growing middle and upper class; not the narrative commonly believed and reported.
