Lets stop being myopic. If Nigeria wasn't hell, do you think many of these people getting arrested for these drug crimes will in indulged themselves in the act?

What they're doing is wrong and even terrible for the country's image. But dont let somebody give you banana to take your future away from you.

People are saying Nigeria is in crisis, the president cannot address his nation except through his two mouthpieces. Can you point at any other nation in the world where the president cannot address his nation? Killings everywhere isn't that worth international attention?
Instead they bribe you with other news thats not even related to whats affecting everybody, and you're here screaming Chai!.

Wetin concern the loved ones of those that have been kiiled within the last 3 weeks with one man found with drugs? Why must that even be national news when the recent killings aren't even observed as something huge by the government? Should we be only hearing news about one man and that woman caught with drugs at the airport until we all kill eachother and the airport has no passenger anymore? Make we dash ourself brain sometimes even if dem no born some of us with am sometimes.

Abeg, let's first focus on what matters to everyone.
So you are justifying kidnapping, banditary and robbing because country hard

Now you understand why they desperately want to have their own international airport in Anambra: so that they can move drugs in and out of Nigeria freely.

I like their dogged approach to making money though. Legally or otherwise.

Even without sounding like a tribalist, this crime is synonymous with us. Whenever I open a drug trafficking related crime story related to Nigeria, the name will ALWAYS give us away.

I'm very disappointed. We can do better than this!

Let’s tell ourselves the truth it’s not easy to survive in this country without doing one or two collobies.Thats why you see the prices of goods and commodities increasing. The traders Inflate prices without considering the effects, likewise the food vendors, you can hardly eat a good meal at any local canteen now with one thousand naira. The civil servant demands for bribes as if it’s their right.Health workers are selling drugs that are supposed to be given to patient for free at the government hospital.Nepa no give electricity but still dish out unreasonable crazy bill monthly.
Infact 80% of those successful traders are into white powders and they use the proceeds to ship in goods(electronics, automobiles, baby wears, hair weaves, cloths, jewelries) to mention but few.
Nigeria is all about survival of the fittest .

Greed, not poverty.

1. How sure are you that this was his first attempt in the drug business?
2. Do you have any proof to show that he was BROKE before venturing into drugs?
3. How do you classify someone gaining over 360m (resell value would definitely go higher) as entering the drug business because of poverty?
4. Would you also categorized kidnapping and armed robbery as alternative businesses one can engage in all in the name of poverty?

People who traffick drugs don't do that because they're poor or broke. It's just greed and a way to make easy money ... Drug money can catapult you from being an average middle income earning person to a multimillionaire in a very short period of time, and it's addictive. When you get into it and see huge quick money, you may never stop until you're caught.

This guy who's arrested... I'm sure if you check his bank account, it could run into millions because of his previous successful deals...and you say poverty?

The person excreting cocaine wraps will always be Obiora, Emeka, Chukwurah or Okonkwo, while the arresting officer is always Garba, Danladi, Adamu or Aminu.
There are Igbo officers in NDLEA and customs but they never arrest their criminal brothers. This morally bankrupt ethnic group is one of the major problems of Nigeria.

Forget this, other tribes are also into trading of white powder.I grew up on the island and you see all those Alhaja selling cloths are into it.I don’t wants to mention names or Na for Surulere you wan talk. Why do you think they always refer most 3rd Avenue or Allen Avenue at Ikeja as cocaine Avenues? So it cuts across all tribes not only Igbo .Mind you I am a Yoruba man

Every tribe has crime peculiar to it. Unfortunately, igbos leads in drug trafficking but l can tell you that Igbos is not major tribe in drug sniffing and usage. Just for the business side.

His brothers will come here to defend him. If they can defend a terrorist then we should know that they can defend any criminal based on tribal sentiment.
97% of them are criminals, they see crime as a way of being smart. I have never seen people full of criminal minds like these ipob basterds.

Does that make it acceptable? I'm talking about the way and manner drug trafficking has smeared the name of Igbos everywhere and you're bringing in human rituals and terrorism to justify the crime ... Please don't compare! I'm Igbo and I'm disgusted.

Everywhere, from South Africa to Indonesia to Thailand to India ... Every drug-related story will always have an Igbo man's name on it, why? We're just giving other tribes the opportunity to label us all as drug traffickers ... We're businessmen. We can do better, more honest businesses.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Let's keep our names and our tribes free from public shame or reproach, so other people will have nothing negative to tag us with.

I don't need to argue with you. l have made my point. Every tribe has a crime peculiar to it. Drugs is for igbos which is very unfortunate. No matter how we condemn it, people will still choose their way of life. Anybody irrespective of tribe caught in any form of crime should be dealt with by the law.

Just like l said earlier, Igbos traffic drugs for the business side of it.

Only law and justice. That's what l preach. If you do the crime, you do the time.
