Oldboss:
which fair game he played awfully that kai first goal was partly his fault
then that irrational tackle on timo that got him booked
defensivly aina is bad
Omo, Aina has suffered sha. Person wey dey ball.... Among our defenders, he’s the best passer, the best dribbler and the best goal scorer. Even his marking is not bad, he had quite a number of successful interceptions yesterday. Let me tell you something about Ebuehi, I’ve been watching his games in the Eredivise these past few months and it’s been average, Ebuehi’s strength is his pace and marking(paradoxically Aina is quite better in marking skillful opponents but poor in marking Pacy opponents), but when you watch Ebuehi’s game closely, you see flaws in his technical abilities, don’t get me wrong, he’s good but he’s still raw, he joins the attack often but hardly contribute positively cos his crosses are still below average and his confidence is still far below Aina’s own. For Ehizibue, well not yet o, with the past few games I’ve watch him play in the Bundesliga, it seems he’s better off the ball than on the ball.

7Andrew thank you for saying this out.
Please where is goldfish80,michael2,icon79,mujtahida,safarigirl and few others who I cannot remember their monikers.. .these are iconic analyser of the game with no sentiment..respect to thegoodjoe,TheSuperNerd,icon4s,chrisloog,jiday, BascoVanVelli and others for always giving us undiluted comprehensive report on the performance of our players.

I think it is better to come out openly just like my good friend forgiveness who is ready to pour it out irrespective of criticisms ditto Kokmne who believe so much in his Nigerian British born players,..Chriskel is a known great admirer of Senegal and Cote'd Voire team and your humble self who is an apology of Spanish league.

I know TheSuperNerd want to hear my view cos I remember when he said Oga Kog must comment on Aina and these are the reasons I always voice my mind out.How on earth will someone always find fault in a player just cos you love the other player which is acceptable...those accusing forgiveness of +++++are worse than him but they cannot come out for fear of verbal onslaughts from members here.

I don't want to compare Ebuehi and Aina but I need to dig out some facts.

Aina statistics in the last eight matches this season

**Chelsea==6.52
*Arsenal==6.39
Wolves==6.85
Leeds==5.94
**Man city=6.09
**Liverpool =6.71
**Tottenham =7.02
Crystal palace =6.58

**represent strong team and he had above 6.5 against three strong epl team.

Highest rating=7.02
Lowest rating=5.94

Aina as Centre back..played 14 matches=6.53
Aina as Right back.. played 10 matches=6.82
Aina as Left back..played 6 matches=6.66

He has scored two goals with one assist and won epl best goal of the month award which stand a chance for best goal of the season.

But funny enough here some just want to run the player down just for a love for another player...Good criticism is acceptable but not myopic one with total hatred.

I have said it based on last two super eagles matches I will pick Ebuehi over Aina but Ebuehi far better,not acceptable to me.

Though a faceless forum but some built this thread to what it is today based on good analysis of the game that made a lot to peep here to get fact.Please let us always be factual and our criticism should tell us that we are a great watcher of the game just like thegoodjoe.

Special shout out to smartmith and pogbae for continuing with what this thread stand for.I enjoy you guys.

Thanks for the special mention bro I appreciate

As a Chelsea fan yesterday I watched the Fulham game...there is more to football than just watching a player...you can just write him off completely because of few defensive blunders...NO!! he registered a shot yesterday even Maja and lookman find it hard to register coz of Chelsea crazy defense marshalled by silva...he could have gotten the equalizer for the team if he is that poor as it was acclaimed then he won't have achieve this feat though his overall performance was average coz the whole Fulham team was poor but he was impressive no caps
Yesterday was not his day...he has done his defensive duty was playing as a CB this season and has done real well playing in the LB position ( I guess that was where his best performance came this season he got an assist for maja)...so judging him from yesterday won't be fair.

Ebuehi is the most technically gifted RB in the super eagles...he doesn't get bullied he marks his man well his crosses are always pin pointed he knows when to join the attack and also does his defensive perfectly ( it takes alot of tatical prowess for you to do that )
Aina is equally talented too but ebuehi is better than him for now I think Aina's real position is LB if you've watched this season his goals and assist comes when he plays as LB he is good on his left foot and also for the super eagles his assist for ighalo came when he played for the LB. I don't think the RB is a position for him maybe he should be drafted to the LB he started off as a LB though.

Richarlison no Sabi play ball like that. I've never seen him dribble successfully. He always play selfishly and lose the ball easily.
