If you get an IT job, the pay is fvcking awesome. It's not about the pay, it's getting the job. You are compiting with Indians and Chinese, so you know what I mean. You have to be really strong in your trade.

The immigration system has been accused of being a scam as it keeps bringing people in, without considering opportunities within. You can read about it online.

Excellent social welfare with mad taxes. But the story is not always how they make it look.
I know its not always smooth and easy like they make it look.

My plans are to get there through student visa for masters in physics or computer science then use sthose Time to search for paying IT jobs.

Thank you verymuch do the insight

The sky is your limit via that route. But you must be consistent and able to persevere against all odds. You must be mentally and psychologically fit.

The beauty of Canada is that, once you click, you will forever click. Breaking in seems to be the only challenge.

Security and welfare is top notch..A boring place at some point. You must be able to create your own fun.

So Mr Dubaiguy, u still haven't told us what you did or do & making it legitimately in Dubai?

U see Dubai & Saudi na prime locations for northerners, but they will always choose Saudi in case of job opportunities. These are people that have a very close wavelength with the arabs, same ideology, religion & some even speak Arabic. Dubai is best for holidays or if u have millions of naira to invest

As if all of the imported bullshyt coming to Africa is not enough, pls go & learn, then come & manufacturer in AFRICA. Think how to make ur motherland prosper & not dumping ground for finshed cheap products that will kill budding industries

It is quit easy to make it here in the UAE and I have lived here for sometimes now but the problem we have here are the Indians and there racism. I never knew Indians hate black people so much until I traveled to Ras Al Khaimah, to Abu Dhabi and finally settled in their commercial Emirate of Dubai. It was horrible what we see in the hands of these monsters called the Indians. They have literally taken over UAE with their saliva spitting idiocy and favouritism. An average Indians hate the guts of Africans. Whenever I come back to Nigeria, I will embarrass any Indians I see on the street of LAGOS
indians can only frustrate you if you work for them, but if you dey your dey any dirtybrown indian wey wan try rubbish go hear am, afterall I no send dia corona infested country

I'm an IT person. Efficient in coding and work with tech team.

I do code embedded sofware for microchip for personal use.

Now I'm on internship with an IT company and I'm in the IS dept where will deal with networking .

I don't believe Nigeria could make it in Dubai but if my skills will surely have a way to get good paying job plz let me know

I have similar skills and OSCP certified. I happen to be the first Nigerian to ever occupy a very sensitive law enforcement government position. Make a move bro we are gifted and the country adores knlowedge even though you will face decrimination sometimes among the locals, I am forced to dress like them because an outsider shouldn't be there. Make a move, even if denied, knowledge is truly power.

Yap yap yap...
This is the reason why I said you write too much and you will be a talkative in real life...

I came to Dubai for the first time in 2011, even before my NYSC 2012...
I have worked as a professional in Dubai and Ajman(Mechanical/Automobile engineer) with Casa ahuda building maintenance LLC for many years... Right now, am self employed with my professional freelance visa(Note the diff between professional freelance visa and Casual workers freelance visa... Mine having Mechanical/Automobile engineer and not a CLEANER or MESSENGER as job description)

UAE is one of the best country, if one can be patient enough, have a GCC work experience in your field of profession, do away with Nija get rich quick mentality, take things one after another, you will be fine...

Good morning house...
