Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, located in Enugu, has told Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari to apologise to him.


Mbaka also warned Garba Shehu to trade with caution, adding that the President’s mouthpiece can also be killed by rampaging bandits.


Father Mbaka made the demand following Shehu’s recent claims that the clergyman came to Buhari begging for contracts and was disappointed.


Recall that Mbaka had last week asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign forthwith or be impeachedby the House of Representatives.


Angered by the cleric’s outburst, the Presidency, through Mr. Shehu had accused the priestof making the call now because he was denied a contract by Buhari.


Mbaka has now described Shehu’s claims as laughable, saying, “Garba Shehu that is talking, the bandits can kill him too.


No amount of security can save them if things get worse.


“They have shown they don’t have reward mechanism.

Shehu should be apologising to me.


“They are busy branding communities and states terrorists. If Kaduna, Benue, and other places are branded terrorist states, will Nigeria not be branded a terrorist country?”

I am disappointed in father Mbaka. He decided to become a politician rather than face Gods calling. From what both sides have posted, it's clear that Garba Shehu was right. Mbaka has agreed that he went to asorock with contractors, so what's the cursing for


Altho I am not in support of apc for using Mbaka to win elections, but that's only because Mbaka allowed himself to be used in the first place! Religious leaders should stay away from politics or get dragged in the mud with politicians.

Meddling in politics not a good idea for priest and traditional rulers especially in Nigeria, cos best politician in Nigeria can best be described as best deceivers and that can't be good for an office that require integrity to thrive

What is wrong if mbaka or any priest/pastor seeks for a contract from government if they have the capacity to execute the project? Are they not citizens??

People saying pastors should face their calling and leave politics are either ignorant or bias. We need people like pastors and religious leaders in government so they can implement ideas and projects religiously.

you dey mind them. I been dey read every nonsense people dey write since Fr. Mbaka begin blast buhari govt heavily currently. I now see people siding buhari govt because of hatred for this priest. the contract was for the welfare of the civilians oo. priests have right to put mouth in govt and politics matter. it has been in history of man. elijah, john the baptist, moses, Jesus Christ did it and he was hated the most by this same civilians when he came to jerusalem. just free Nigerians abeg

I don't have any business with the presidency and Fr. Mbaka. The only thing I have to say is that Buhari should step down for a more competent hand to take over.

I know that most Nigerian polticians prefer to die in their position than step aside, but stepping down will pave the way for a more competent Osinbajo to run the affairs of the country.

Buhari has done more harm than good and it's time for men of goodwill to persuade him to take that walk. After all, Buhari proudly told us that he was too old to perform and someone had the guts to vote for him again.
