What's funny

I’m just surprised and laughing at the fact that Algeria have been jostling for him. But I’m not sure if this is true

Olise will pick Nigeria over Algeria. He is more of a Nigerian and Nigeria is a bigger football nation.

It Is bro...just read it somewhere too

You know Nigeria is not a serious country...should the lad wanna play for US now, it will take the authorities 6 months to get him a passport.

Just see how a serious country convince players to play for them...they hold a meeting with him and his rep to convince him..save for pinnick only God knows what the NFF vice presidents seyi and Dikko are doing on that seat....we have left Rohr to be doing this convincing alone lately...that's the reason many of us want him to continue as eagles coach even when he is technically deficient because we know once he leaves the NFF and politicians will install an indigenous coach who will barely call and convince this FB lads and then litter the team with npfl players who they will sell for meagre sum to obscure leagues and keep the cycle rolling

Folks who knows nothing about football nor have passion for the game...

Oga you think it walks that way

That's how you make choice in careers or when picking a job

You simply go to a place that show much seriousness in getting you...a place you get to understand their project, a place that approach you with much seriousness and a plan

Dude is more English and French than Nigeria..but he can still go for Algeria if they succeed in convincing him well enough moreover amongst the 4 nations..Nigeria is least attractive right now so bro...your assertion is quite wrong

How is Algeria more attractive than Nigeria? Nigeria is a bigger brand in football and Nigeria has already met with him and it’s just passport issues delaying.
He has agreed and that’s why he was on the standby list. There is nothing Algeria has to offer that Nigeria cannot. How would he feel more French than Nigeria when he has a Nigerian father and a Nigerian surname and he stays in England. You just seem to overate Algeria.

the whole passport took just three days despite the fact there was shortage of booklet.. we couldn't have him play from the standby as a result of traveling ban so just chill and see how things unfold.

this particular that was said he would chose Algeria ahead of Nigeria snubbed a call by one of France age grade team

Ignorant in what sense? That Nigeria officials are not doing enough to get this lads especially as regard getting the British born like lookman and ovie on switch and paper work Or on current happenings regading Olise..
on the latter I agree I may have limited knowledge on happenings at the moment

I am relieved a bit
Because it seems we may not get eze for afcon even if he decide to play for US now but Olise we can easily draft in

Afcon teams like Algeria, Senegal, Morocco is becominh more of a threat with the array of stars at the disposal

Just want us to win at least one afcon with this bunch of youngsters it will go a long way to remove excuses from the mouth of rohr in next world cup on why we should not make It out of that group because that man is full of excuses

I doubt Rohr, going by what he said about incoming new players, will want to take Olise to AFCON though. Abi Rohr has changed ni?

For me, World cup is more likely

Nigeria has won u17, done well at u20, won olympic d, won more nations cup than Algeria. We have gotten to more nations cup semi finals than Algeria and we have produced more stars than Algeria. Apart from Rabah market and belloumi I don't know what Algeria has produced. We have more players in the English league than them. Forget this fifa rankings. They even need oliseh more than us. We have ishaq abdulrazaq who will get to his level in a few years time. What is Algeria in African football?
Nigeria is more famouy and recogii in football than Algeria. That's a fact

Base on current FIFA ranking release last month Nigeria national team is ahead of Algeria. Gerhnort Rohr should just cap this Michael olise this coming international window in June before we also loose him to Algeria
