Daum:Please against which people? Anioma or revenge for those that killed 30 thousand Ndigbo in the North? Answer please if shame go allow you. Those that were killed were named and they were the people of the pogrom. See the way he cut sentence from a post to confuse people that can't read. Nobody has ever denied vengeance on the North for the pogrom. As for the 3 million innocent children, be well assured that Ndigbo will be pay that one back one day. The post is very clear 2 Likes 1 Share

Daum: Where did it say that Biafran troops lined up Urhobo people and Edo people in their towns and mass murdered them. Show me the quote on that? "Atrocities" is a vague word. If I forcefully take mama onome Chicken as a Biafran soldier and kill it to eat with my stupid friends without my commander knowledge, and Mama onome went and reported to her husband who came to confront me and I used the head of my gun to hit on his head and beat him senseless and send him home in injuries. That's atrocity right there and very much condemnable. But is it a genocide? Nope! Were the actions of the Biafran soldier sanctioned by his superiors? Nope! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Igboid: 10:20am On May 04, 2021 |
Daum: Osadebey was removed by the military junta. And by the time Biafrans marched through Midwest, the ruler of the region was an Urhobo man called Ejoor. Ejoor was pro Nigeria, and Ojukwu replaced him with Dr Okonkwo, an Anioma son. This didn't go down well with Urhobos and Edos. They Saw Okonkwo appointment as evidence of Biafrans intent to institute Igbo domination on the non Igbos of the region. They quickly forgot that Aniomas are supposed to be Bini descendants like they are telling us today when they rejected Okonkwo appointment. They also quickly forgot that before the whole madness started, it was an Anioma person in Osadebey and not an Edo or Urhobo person who was the ruler of the region. So all Ojukwu did with appointment of Dr Okonkwo as the new administrator of Midwest was restore things to default settings. 6 Likes 1 Share |

BKayy: Why should I be ashamed At first, you were arguing that biafran troops never committed any atrocities. Now you have seen from your own link that they did and you're defending their atrocities by saying it was a revenge for the killings in the north. You should be ashamed of yourself bro. Why you day lie since. You don see am now, you don day talk. Go and read the link and stop talking lies here abeg |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by BKayy: 10:24am On May 04, 2021 |
Igboid:Read the link. The report never said Biafran forces fell on Midwest civilians. They named those they fell on. The pogrom people. The genocidal North out of vengeance. The report is clear and looks unbiased because we all know how humans behave. You can't expect Biafran forces to be hosting party for Northerners in Midwest after they massacred innocent 30 thousand of Biafran people in the North despite their people sent back to them in presidential convoy a year before 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by BKayy: 10:26am On May 04, 2021 |
Daum:I don't count vengeance as atrocities. Even the holy bible, Quran and Hadiths endorse it. So I have no moral justification to be against Biafran forces avenging the death of Biafrans killed by Northerners in Midwest. But don't twist it. They never touched Midwest native because they are our own people. The post even explained how the identity crisis in Delta state started. As for the 3 million children starved and killed by Nigerian forces, whenever Biafra chooses to avenge them, I'll still have no moral justification to condemn it. I might not endorse it but to condemn... No, never I can't 2 Likes 1 Share |

BKayy: Read that link What I always maintained that, the midwesterners killed were killed because they looked like Hausa according to Biafra soldiers . That was my very first post I made. But you said it was a lie. Even the link shows incident of Midwesterners who had to run away for their lives. There is a report of an Esan family who were hidden in agbor by a family in agbor just to escape being killed. |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by BKayy: 10:37am On May 04, 2021 |
Daum:The post never said anybody was killed because he looked like Hausa. The Edo person in the post ran away out of fear and at the continuation of the post we found out why. His people in conjunction with Ika wiped out almost all of Delta Igbo but propaganda made it look like it was done by only Hausa-Fulani. The post clarified it was vengeance. No need for argument. As you can see I am unbiased. I can't say a human being will see a member of the people that massacred thousands of his people and let him live. So I can't vouch for Biafran forces being stupid to let the Northerners leave alive again 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Daum: 10:37am On May 04, 2021 |
Igboid: They killed the older brother of my friends father. That's an atrocity. At first you all said Biafra troops never committed any offence in the midwest. You guys posted a link, it's there. Lol Please I just want you guys to agree that no matter the scale, biafran troops committed atrocities. |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Daum: 10:42am On May 04, 2021 |
BKayy: That was an individual who survived. You believed the report. I gave you a report about a family friend who was killed in Edo state and you didn't believe it. I am not justifying anything federal troops did. Infact, I am someone who felt sorry for the igbos who were killed. But I just want the igbos here to admit that biafran troops killed midwesterners. It is the truth |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by BKayy: 10:42am On May 04, 2021 |
Daum:Why are you still arguing blindly. Did the post say Biafran forces kill Northern people in Midwest? Yes, and I have no moral justification to condemn it if it is true. Did the post say Ika and Edo people commit the genocide on Delta Igbo of Isheagu, Ogwashikwu and others except Asaba? Yes and they gave the names and narrative which has been confirmed by all sources. So what are you arguing again? The post code told you the Biafran forces have a blood bond with their people in Midwest so what else are you changing? 1 Like 1 Share |

Daum:"Report by a family friend" same old joke. The report here is the most unbiased, concise one you can see out there. Quick question, does Edo people look like Hausa or fulani? 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by BKayy: 10:47am On May 04, 2021 |
Igboid:The Edos also forgot the Anioma being Bini descendants when they and Ika wiped out almost all of the Aniomas. Can't believe they made people believe it was just Hausa soldiers that did the wiping by pointing the only one they did in Asaba under Murtala Mohammed watch. That of Ogwashikwu, Isheagu and other parts of delta igbobthat was done by Ika and the acclaimed Bini ancestors with the aim of eradicating them hidden under the carpet. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Daum: 11:13am On May 04, 2021 |
BKayy: So because the name of my family friend did not enter the report, it's not true. If we go by the same logic, then list the names of the 3 million igbos killed in the war. Give names, list the names of the people killed in Orlu and Onitsha and Nsuka and enugu. List all their names. 2 Likes 1 Share

BKayy: My point has been and always been that biafran troops killed midwesterners when they were in the Midwestern region. Even if it's one soul that was killed. But you guys have denied it. I am not talking about the northerners killed in the midwest, I am talking about midwesterners. You guys are still denying it. |

BKayy: I think it was mainly Agbor and Owa people. Owa in particular quickly denounced their Igbo identity immediately Murtala Mohammed showed up and quickly made him their friends. They also by the foregoing had to prove to the FG that they are not Igbos, and there were no better ways of doing that than joining the Edos/FG forces to visit to their fellow Midwestern Igbos with massacre. It is this aspect of Anioma history that is rarely discussed, because it would wreck havoc in their quest for unity. Ika towns like Igbodo who are traditionally pro Igbo also suffered massacre. Interesting to see the role the Bini man Ogbemudia played in these Massacres. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Daum: 11:34am On May 04, 2021 |
Igboid: I gave just one proof. One of an edo Man, who was killed by Biafran troops on the road at a check point at a road that leads to Akure. Why would an old man lie about those who killed his Elder brother. The man didn't just say he was killed for no reason. He said he was killed because he was mistaken for Hausa by Biafran troops. But you said because it was not documented, then it is false. That it is a concorted story. If we go by that logic, then we can dismiss the souls of many igbos that were killed in the war because I can say that their killings were not documented also. We can only accept those that were documented. The rest that were killed whose names are no where to be found are all concorted and false stories... |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Igboid: 11:41am On May 04, 2021 |
Daum: Lol! We have seen bigger lies from those quarters. Igbo Massacres in Biafran and Midwest were well documented. If the man was killed as a result of mistaken identity as you are saying, then it's obvious he was only a casualty of misidentification and there was no harm intended on him or Midwesterners in general, which on its own cancels out the falsehood of Biafran troops carrying out massacre of the natives. And mind you, I don't in any way even buy the man story. Anyone can wake up one morning and start talking nonsense. This is Nigeria. Where we have a whole generation of Igboid speaking Ika being told by lying elders that they speak Igbo because of trade with Igbos and because the white missionaries forced Igbo language on them. These are the type of lies elders in those climes sit down and concoct. Lies that cannot stand scrutiny. Juvenile lies. 7 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Daum: 11:49am On May 04, 2021 |
Igboid: Why would you buy the story since it's a stain on biafran soldiers. If the Biafran soldiers could kill a white man in Agbor and accuse him of being a mercenary, why can't they kill an Edo man and tag him Hausa. You won't believe It wasn't recorded, it's all concorted stories. That's why I said, those igbos who died whose names were not mentioned or documented during the war were all fake. It's all concorted and it's all false. |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Igboid: 12:18pm On May 04, 2021 |
Daum: We have evidence of Nigerian Army lining up and massacring hundreds of Igbo villagers in their home towns. We have evidence of those killed by name and their village name, we know the Nigerian Army unit and their commanders involved, we even have our mass graves. In contrast, you claim Biafrans massacred Midwesterners, you can't provide names of victims, you can't provide their village names and, you can't provide names of Biafran unit or their commanders involved. All you have is concocted stories you insist we MUST accept, because according to you, "why should your sources lie"? Well newsflash! Humans lie and they do so many times even without any reason. If you can't provide evidence of Biafran troops lining up Midwestern natives and killing them, then you are obviously making up the stories. 4 Likes 1 Share |

We won't accept such false allegations from your likes. Let's honor the lives of those who were massacred without you trying to demonize larger ethnic groups in the Delta. Thank you. 1 Like |
