Aconomist:Is this not what we try to tell you when you start your Lagos bashing threads? Granted Lagos has her issues but genuine Lagosians know what obtained before Tinubu became Governor in 1999 to appreciate where we are today and the level of rot that has been arrested. More has to be done but Lagos is the only State in Nigeria with a 100% workable 'road map' that has already made it a Nation-State and the 6th biggest economy in Africa. 3 Likes |

Aconomist:Building the largest children hospital in Africa means nothing. Building an efficient , standard and affordable hospital system spread across the state should be our goal. From personal experiences of others and my own personal experience it changes nothing on ground .in most government hospital in lagos the services provided are not standard. Imagining a child rushed brought in during emergency only for the doctor who saw you running waited for you to come back and start whistling telling you he knows that you will definitely come back to him. Ayinke hospital is there in Ikeja and touted as the largest children maternity in Nigeria. Still the cost is high for a government hospital. Guess they want to outshine ambode .politics of sentiments |
