DOA Three serial betrayers of the party as their candidates for the highest office the party contests for ? What message does that send to the party rank n file ? You can swap party at a whim, have your ambition stunted and then return, no questions asked ? In the midst of such comings and goings, how do you hope to enforce party discipline ? As far as I can see, only one of these candidates has a track record worth noting ; Saraki taught Jacob Zuma what "state capture" was in Kwara Tambuwal is a political gadfly and a band-wagoneer. What has he done of note in Sokoto ? In fact what achievements has he done in Sokoto that would translate to Nigeria at large ? Atiku we know, both in notoriety and infamy. At this moment, PDP, going with triumvirate, does not look like a government in waiting. |

Coronabirus: If Nigeria must move forward we need a vibrant your experienced politician that can withstand these old cabals. You can't be thinking of Obasanjo's mates to rule us again. We need to forget sentiment and make bold decisions to change what we are going through today. |

They should give it to Saraki who has support in north, south and east....This would allow him give apc a good run for their money, plus if stimulus would agree to sup pop art with his funds too. I think Saraki is the best fit! Young and liberal Muslim and the only Senate president we had in the last 16 years the rest are just puppets! 1 Like |

Mikehot:I heard you. Atiku can only be a little better than Buhari in terms of nepotism. Those guys are all the same. If Yaradua was nepotistic with appointments, Atiku can't do less. Moreover, it's always the north first before Nigeria, whenever a northerner is in power. 2 Likes |

Bashir75: Igbos benefited more than you people in this administration yet we hate Buhari because igbos can't be bought. We don't sell our birth rights like you useless digressive beings from cave that are afraid to stand on their own. How many International Airports have sprung up in the South East in this administration, you can be the judge. However, nothing can appear the igbos in this zoo except to pull out from this rotten zoo and realize our God given untapped potentials |

Mikehot:Lol... How quickly you have forgotten that you need a lot of money and political influence to win an election in Nigeria. In the 2019 election, was Prof Moghalu not by all standards, a better candidate than Atiku? But yet, I doubt Moghalu even got up to 10,000 votes in the entire south east where Atiku got 7 figures; yet you think the influence and support of political bigwigs is useless in elections? If the political big boys don't support a candidate, that candidate already has an impossible task to accomplish; such a candidate wouldn't even come close to clinching the PDP ticket. 1 Like |

Mikehot:Nothing is moderate in atiku, kwankwanso.Besides we southerners don't want a northerner after buhari. We no go gree.A northerner wonts accept it if after a southerner another southerner wants to come.We have better candidates than what the north can offer. They should go and govern their region and leave ours if they insist on born to rule.We southerners are tired of them. 1 Like |

Mikehot:you have a point. Then it doesn't mean the south should fold arms. Bros, i blame the southernerz for how we have c0me, i mean, many of them d0n't vote, they feel relaxed, give the n0rth t0o much power and so forth. 0nly the west are putting up effort in the centre. Check the votes fr0m the east or SS or those who vie for power there. If the n0rth are playing politics, the south t0o should. The n0rth is str0ng cos they see themselves as one. The south doesn't. Igbos d0n't like yorubas, yorubas d0n't like igbos, yorubas d0n't like yoruba muslims etc. The n0rth has various ethnic groups are divided as n0rth west, n0rth east, but they see themselves as n0rth. They only drag in middle belt just when they want to be malicious and try to form alliances with them. But the south d0n't. What st0ps south fr0m playing their game, seek alliances, relati0nship with the min0rities in the n0rth and the middle belt who are forcibly being dragged and marginalized? When i l0ok at how divided nigeria is, i see it as a representati0n of the south. No excuses. Whatever secessi0nist ideology the south has, it won't work cause they are so divided. The yorubas right n0w are thinking of themselves in the light of muslim or christian. The south south d0n't like the Igbos. So on. But we barely kn0w of the min0rities in g0mbe, bauchi, kan0, niger. Cos we all assume they are hausa fulani. In essence, the n0rth in as much as they are nigeria's problem, the south and it's entirety still have part of the blame. Forget abt the myth that the n0rth is larger and has m0re populati0n. They only have land, they aren't as big as told. I have been there. They only rely on under age voting and immigrant voting. They push in fulani fr0m Niger and so other countries to c0me vote while the igbos and so many otherz sit at h0me. To hell with the theory that we need an0ther n0rthern guy to be president. The n0rth d0n't see themselves as nigerians, they see themselves as one N0rth, and the other regi0ns there to serve them. The South hasn't changed that n0ti0n. They still worship the n0rth. Always have. Even the Igbos do, but sadly d0n't realize. All these talks about secessi0n only serves the n0rth, cos it's never achievable. Forget the lyrics. The n0rth are happy with the distracti0n and would use it to further kill the Igbos via the army. |

Minemrys:True but las las you gat understand it is the foundation that causes all this We didn't ask to be joined together but when the British did it was a terrible loopsided job to favour the jihadists in 1906 there was the southern and northern protectorate By 1939 Richard changed it to Northern Southern provinces (whatever that means) then he immediately divided southern province to East and West, but he left the North as one province (I believe the name change was a smokescreen to divide the target south) 1n 1960s Awolowo had an internal party issue with akintola, then Tafawa Balewa who the Brits handed prime minister to quickly invaded the privacy of the regional West and further carved mid-west out of it as punishment (This was were the cat was out of the bag on the jihadists who have been propelling the British to further divide the south) Amino Kano had issues with the Northern people's Congress and went to form his own party Northern Element Progressive Union (This was Tafawa Balewa party the NPN having crisis, infact Amino Kano formed his own party unlike Akintola who had mere fraction, but Balewa didn't deem it enough punishment to carve out another region from north) Infact middle belt people like J. Tarka went ahead to form (United Middle belt Congress) from NPC This was the perfect time to have carved Mid North but he didn't The North has been the devil sowing all the discord you see down south since 1939 |

bolaayenimo:God bless you. I was just about telling him that throwing it open is as correct as this news because I don't see others outside these three people. But unfortunately that means PDP will fail again because I have not seen a national figure in PDP, I mean someone that will serve as the vehicle on which every other person ( from South to the North) will ride to work for common goal of the party irrespective of any personal grievance. |
