What are the ways out please?

Hang around residential areas in d morning, then move to commercial and corporate areas during the day till evening.
Avoid too much short trips, avoid going to areas that u will have to drive empty back to civilization to position urself.
Know d difference between weekend and weekdays in terms of positioning and destination. Take advantage of events, parties, beaches. If u r in a surge area, look for long distance or average trip. If u see surge coming, go offline for a while to take advantage of d surge. Better to wait 10mins and get the surge.

But let's b honest, how many drivers in Indriver have tap on 5mins and take 15mins to get to the rider? What if the rider choose not to embark on the trip because of 10 mins different? I'm not really in for all this I b strong man thing
Yesterday night I still tapped on 10 mins for a 17 mins drive to destination because it's a long trip to my area. I first tapped 20 mins, rider rejected. I just tapped 10 mins and she accepted.
Once it shows 3 secs left I will tap arrived, if rider calls I'll say I'm at the next name map shows I'll turn to
R: but app says you've arrived.
Me: app glitch, maybe cuz I'm very close

Okay, work actually start around 7:30am, and anywhere I am around 7:30pm I'm either ending a trip and finding my way back home or already on my way back home. Attached is my revenue. If there's something I should do better.
Revenue is okay, time input too high though

For those who can’t read long epistle let me continue here...

Cos this is the main point I’m driving at.

So I sent her a msg
“ kindly check your account maybe the money was reversed as I have not gotten the alert”

She replied
“Sorry it was reversed send your account number again “

I did immediately but no response
Till next day no alert no reply
I just reported to bolt and bolt gave me 500 naira compensation and blocked her account

Next morning dts 3rd day
She started calling me up and down
R: Oga wat is wrong with you, how can you say I didn’t pay you and block my account cos of 1k
Me: that’s how u guys do, doing fake alerts and forming cooperate lady. ( she was in suit and cleaned up dt day, but na my opportunity to give her back)
Na so she run mad begin shout on phone like mad woman.
While I was laughing cos e sweet my belle.
Long story shout
She kept calling me asking dt I should check my account , she sent debit alert to me, bla bla
I checked my account online 1 k no enter for past 5 days so I was confident.

Next thing foreign number called me.
Bolt support.
See interview session ooh
The lady was on dis riders side already claiming she saw all our chats and text messages. With the debit alert.
I had to send my statement of account to convince her, it wasn’t easy at all.
Bolt said why did I use different account from the one they have in their app
I use zenith bank in bolt App
But gave the lady Access bank account.

I had to quickly report in the App again that it’s fake debit alert cause It didn’t reflect in my account. Cos d interrogation didn’t go well, they believed the rider.

All this epistle I’m writing is to let you guys know that text messages is a tool that can finish your career.

This weekend d lady sent me a message again dt I’m wicked and heartless for not unblocking her account.
I know in my heart dt d problem might be from d bank but
1. her attitude won’t let me pity her (next time she will respect drivers)
2. Bolt will think I lied all dis while
3. She should be d one asking her bank not me.

Be careful what you send to rider.

I have another one dt owes me 4,300 naira and off for 4days before I reported her.
She paid me 5k and beg to unblock account.
Did you do a fair review? Cos bolt will usually tell me I need a fair review before they can do anything.

BAZ001:

Did you send any message to rider? If yes then you shoot yourself for leg.
Don’t ever send anyhow message to riders (except local olosho or runs guys)

Let me share a scenario with dis lady last week
Picked her up in one estate, she was so nice one phone directing me and sweet voice.
Got to her gate. She ran out saying her dogs wanted to jump on her.
Next thing

Me: (for my mind na dem) I increased AC
Journey was going smoothly all of a sudden
R: why is everyone on d road driving slowly, what’s happening?
Me: d road is not free
R: (shouted) I can see a free road here, DRIVE Fast
Mesad I shake cos of d shout but was cool) drive fast how? Can’t you see a car in front
R: (screamed ) drive Abeg
Then car was silent till we got to destination...
Trip 1k
R: ur bank
Me: Access
R: Access Access or Access diamond
M: (one word ) Access
R: There are two Access
Me: Access Access
R: is like u don’t want ur money, call ur account number Abeg
Me: gave her
R: on call on her 2nd phone
R: pls ur Acct again
Me: ( me calming myself na jazebel daughter, jst calm down) called it again
R: (open door) it’s still rolling but u will get it.
Me: ok
Give her 1* and write rude abusive for comment.
Na so alert no enter till night

No mind them jàre. Naija riders sabi cheat the system and some drivers are helping them to do same. Your submission is exactly mine. Aunty/Oga rider, abeg, stopping over illegally is cheating the system. Period.
Felicity001:

You seems to have a soft spot for riders especially the female folks, why?

Anyways, everyone has the way they carry out their duties, as for me weather on Indriver or not if you didn't indicate stops or preferred route to your destination I won't allow you have any or direct out of the usual route as directed by Gmap, should I be going out of a route you may not be familiar with mayne due to traffic I'll inform you before diverting so you dont feel unsafe.

I may only have a brief stop for you provided its along the route you're going and you must not take more than 3minutes other wise I'll end your trip immediately you return. You pay me for the distance covered already and time taken then book another ride right there before proceeding, if you're lucky the trip gets to me fine! Otherwise, I wait for you till your driver arrives. Should he be taking too much time other than 5min, I leave Immidiately I get a request.

Mind you all of these time ive already turned of my car with my glasses down Immidiately you left to where you went before.

I'm not your private driver, I'm just a business man.
Sorry if its a card trip because you wont come back to meet me after wai ting for 5min max. But if there's luggage in my car I'd already end the trip tue moment I sight you coming out,

"Ha oga! Why did you end the ride?

I told you I would only wait 3min before, besides you didnt include a stop on your trip. I.e. manipulation of trip price.

It's as simple as that.

Respect is reciprocal

I'm glad to be a hoodlum driver oh.

The few cases you mentioned remind me of things we face in this Indriver. I have situations like these too. But I always stand my ground. On Indriver, I determine the route to use. And that Agungi case got me rolling on the ground here. Just imagine! Naija rider sabi abuse things.

Hope Indriver don free you?
pope191:

Simple: A woman can make or mar u, but I'm soft on every gender till you give me the reason not too. Life is simple, when you say you can't do this or that, I feel it's important to check if it's not ego overriding sense of judgement. For example, I pick a rider going to lekki phase 1 from ikeja for 3800, maybe on uber the trip could have end at 3200 or 3500 with commission. Now it took the rider 2 mins to hop into the car... let's assume the rider spend 12 mins after arrival to come out, what would you have done? End trip and spend another 30 mins surfing for trip? So what's the big deal if someone that didn't spend up to 2 mins to hop into the car plead for 5 mins in a reasonable manner. I'm a business man and I'm telling you, cutting slack and power of negotiation are 2 skills you don't joke with in business. Last month I worked for a man for 3 weeks and he paid me 250k plus a gift of 50 pounds (while I still drive and make 10k some days inbtw), all from attitude of tolerance. Even this morning the man I took to Lekki yesterday morning called if I can take him to same place, but I have to turn that down, because this IT students trying to catch up with Uber won't let me go online. So boss I don't know how u run your parol, maybe you just like noise, cos I can imagine you taking me from magodo phase 2 to VI on cash trip and I plead for 5 mins just to get food at Heyden Alepere, end up spending 10 mins and you cancelled out of principle. What will happen, if I refuse to pay for distance covered? Are you going to beat me or what? Even if I pay you, how long will you drive from dia to get a rider ( lets assume 24 mins traffic get out). Make we allow wisdom deh follow us for dis waka.

Note: I still they change em for rider if he or she act anyhow, Shollywendy can attest to the one I change d matter for immediately inside Oniru, she was going to Yaba 2500, but need to pick charger at Agungi grin Desmond Elliot ooo, are u kidding me grin . I still changed it for one lady last week, she insist on Ikorodu rd from Ozone cos her work mate wants to drop at Maryland, while she's going to Ogudu the Ketu side. Madam! I'm not angry that you let me drove down to this place before saying all this, but I can't and she goes with is it the money, talk I'll add sometin, those words use to mad me, add 300 abI? Work mate request to find his way, madam says no, I must take them... huh! On top my car, oya! Make una get down, she got reluctant. Me: is this your office? I'll scatter ground, come the next day to see your HR... no body tell them before they jump down.

I can take most tins, but that route is a no no for me and if most take it, we will negotiate payment according to ETA.

The thing is a general thing, can't complete payment. Indriver is trying to take advice commission and it make sense, no card payment, all cash.
