The Lebanese and Chinese investors in Nigeria exploit the massive unemployment in Nigeria to under pay those they employed in their companies despite the extra-long working hours.

These Lebanese and Chinese investors will not dare do this in their own country. They come into our country and publicly enslave our people and because we have useless Government in place no opposition.

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) is suppose to check the excessive exploitation of these Lebanese and Chinese investors and sanctioned them but the NLC is also totally useless.

One certain day, we all said we want our salaries to be increased to 15k or we won't work that day, these Lebanese heartless ediots didn't mind us and went outside than started recruiting new people to come inside and start work omo no be person tell us to manage it like that,ooo. Guy if you break perfume, them go write am down and minus am from your money at month end. Omo that shit was more than slavery.

This is what the NLC, National assembly and the ministry of Labour should address.

This is how they treat their fellow Chinese and fellow indians in their respective countries but the thing with niggerians is that we worship anything white skin, if black south africans where doing half of what these asians do we'd have been calling for their businesses to be burnt.... And na expatriate I work with.....them Indians, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Pakistan....infact Indians were the administrative head....o boy we saw hell

Nigerian owned company worse sef. I know one Ivorian guy sent to do analysis on why a business was always suffering production issues. Turns out staff were sabotaging regularly due to low pay, while boss would come on site in his Bentley every day.

The naija owner could not understand why his workers were not happy at receiving 30k per month.

Let's start the discussion when we have other companies to compete with them. As for now I can't blame them. It's all about market forces the supply of labour far out paces the demand. When we have other alternatives for jobs, salaries would automatically go up because no company would want to loss it's workers.

Minimum wage is #30,000 or it doesn't apply to private companies?

I was paying over #20000 plus bonuses years ago for a 5/6 hour job excluding transport, data etc.
