I agree with the ops. Seun and his team are not up to task in managing the vitriolic and vituperations being doled out here in large doses from both sides. The fallout has been even a wider gulf of hate and mistrusts amongst the NL community instead of building bridge of mutual respect and strength. It is important that Seun steps up and enforce Nairaland own rules or is he not thinking of improvements unlike Nigeria govt.

For these bad characters on both sides, you can channel your energy on sth more useful and fruitful. No great nation has ever been built on hatred and divisions. None! Never!

Seun and his agents are biased hypocrites. You can't call my celebrity cousin a prostitute and when I fire back by calling your mother a prostitute, Seun and Mods will ban me without banning the initial instigator. Arrant Nonsense!!!

I have advised many lgbo people to stop commenting and responding on lgbo hating threads but no, they refused. Even the two threads i stated on it was deleted, which shows nairaland likes the hatred on this site to promote traffic.

To start with, I personally appreciate your effort to give every Nigerians the opportunity to air their views via your forum. However, I feel a huge responsibility is placed on you to make sure the forum promotes the diversity of your country, my country, our country —Nigeria.

The hate on this forum is too much. Yoruba versus Igbo is promoted here. Members use this forum to promote North versus South hate. This is not healthy for Nigeria. Take for instance one certain Simplyleo, Arewa1stson and host of monikers which allegedly represent the interest of their regions and political parties by insulting and running down other tribes, regions and even religion.

Why should members call others Pigs, Afonja, IPOB, Aboki just because they don't agree with some minute individuals from other ethnic, religious and regional extraction.

As an atheist, I believe this is an opportunity to be a light in the darkness of the country filled so-called religious individuals.

Though the hate may imply more traffic, I don't think revenue is more valuable than human lives.


Remember, should Nigeria collapse or War break out, there may not be NairaLand again!!!

This your post even highlight one of the cause of the so called hate on nairaland and that is BIAS......everyone has a bias . For you it's religion you think your being an atheist qualifies you to meditate.
For others it's ethnicity , I won't conclude on your ethnicity until you tell me but mentioning simplyleo and arewa1stson alone is bias.....these are people from north and west , does it mean you are protecting eastern interest?......a bias
