Ooh.. He's using first bank

shupy:

What bank is your sponsor using? It's not the same as regular. MyBankStatement is just a certificate that can be generated using the bank app. It depends on the bank and type of account. The statement of account will be sent to the embassy directly from the bank while you upload the certificate along with your application.

My course says (optional co-op ) does that mean I will fill in "yes" in the to the "work essentials" while applying?

It depends on you. Would you like to observe that internship program? I think you should go for it. You’ll gain the experience and get a temporary work visa for the co-op program.

Hmm... there is no clear answer to this. First, have you been admitted? Second, do you intend to accept the admission?

If yes to both questions, go ahead and apply. Your visa would definitely be processed. It may not arrive in time but you can defer the admission or start lecture online.

May 15 deadline doesn’t mean the application won’t be accepted or processed after. It is just a deadline for faster application processing.

Be calming down with all these money you quoted sis !

may99:

Hello,

To the best of my knowledge using a non-biological sponsor is quite stressful as it requires the establishment of a connection between you and the person. Also, the visa officer takes into consideration the type of account used. If it is a business account, the money you require should be less than 10% of what’s in the account. Also, every single board of director associated with the organization need to sign the sponsorship letter or write a separate letter confirming their knowledge. If it is a personal account, the money you require should be less than 30% of what’s in the account. The visa officer (VO) doesn’t expect your dads associate to go broke sponsoring you. It doesn’t work that way.

If it was your biological parent, you may be able to convince the VO that they want to spend all their funds in you but not your uncle, a friend, a company, or a business associate.

For a clearer picture, if your tuition and living expenses total 8M, you need

<30M for an uncle/ friend sponsor account
<9M for biological parents
<15M for biological sibling
<60M for any business account that is not owned by your parents

Either way, each situation is unique. If you’re sure you can sell your dad’s associate sponsoring you with that account balance in your SOP, go for it.

Hello nairaland, please I need help from the gurus in the house.
I applied at the university of Regina for an undergraduate study through and agent, although I have a HND degree, without proper research on the degree I should have gone for, and I know that was a big mistake on my part.
I am 25yrs already and i don't know if this an issue, please kindly advice what to do.

Did anyone else experience issues when booking their biometric appointment? This One Time Password thing is just stressing me because it takes like ten minutes for it to be sent to my email and I guess that by that time it has expired because when I input it it says that it is incorrect.
Can anyone offer me any solutions?

But some applied after them and have gotten. You never know, things might just work out in their favor. I don't think this should be the judge. The real question is how long after May 15 do you want to apply? A couple of days after, or in June/July. I definitely don't have a lot of experience here but this NSE isn't exactly reliable so try to submit as soon as possible. The website says they can't guarantee you a decision by August 6th if you don't submit on time but maybe it could come some days later? Don't quote me sha just try to meet up if you can, don't be discouraged.

In my own humble suggestion, I think you need to prove more ties between you and your sponsor.
Maybe show more documents that prove that he has made some financial commitments to you in the past, like paid for any of your fees before, or sent money for upkeep, WhatsApp messages where you two keep constant communications about your welfare and progress, family pictures old or new between the two of you. Because the VO is really concerned about the relationship between the both of you and does not believe funds will be readily available

You can also add another letter of explanation on why you weren’t able to attend any other post secondary institutions since you finished secondary school, as the VO is really concerned about your purpose of visit and genuineness to study. Maybe a little bit more explanation on why you weren’t able to study since you left secondary school, why you want to do it now, why Canada, why the course will be beneficial to you and your future prospects and how it’s going to be helpful to you and your country of origin when you are done with it.

I hope this helps a little bit

Thank you for this contribution, I appreciate. Thanks
