Hello my nairaland fam. Been a very long time, I literally spared all day to read all the posts I've missed, about 15 to 20 pages. Lol

Don't mind me, I'm just concerned to know the present condition. I was initially sad it's still the same story but with the last 2 pages, ADs are flowing this May. Gut!

I pray God settles everyone. Let me firstly reinstate this fact someone earlier mentioned, let's be cautious of what we post here. I had an experience on my interview day(last year) and the embassy staff referenced this page. So, I'm sure of what I'm saying. My point? They know what's going on, they have always known but for reasons best known to them, AD na wahala.

For those of us trying other countries, I wish us well and I even need update of easy eu countries to process o, lol ( for my guys in naija tho). So, please anyone with useful info, kindly reach out.

Dont let us give up. Na who give up mess up. Germany is very cool and worth the struggle( once you enter, you would technically forget all these struggles, as I was readingthe thread today, na so I dy remember the struggles 2019/2020 but we thank God) The weather is getting more friendlier and I personally thank God for His favour I'm still enjoying. Let me use this opportunity to advise those going for interviews soon and those coming very soon not to come to DE with the mentality that " na Europe, we no need God again", hmmmm. Getting to Germany na big deal, settling in na another bigger deal. For without Him, we can do nothing...

I'm online at the moment to answer any questions or any clarification

One love bosses!

What did they ask you about narialand. I'd mind if you can give full details of your interaction with the VO concerning this thread.
Thanks.

The best thing to do is to follow this style on https://europa.eu/europass/eportfolio/screen/profile-wizard?lang=en

This is the perhaps acceptable CV format for Europe.

Soon brother we would join you.

A quick question, like how long did it take you to access money in your block account after you landed?

Also, how much extra did you take along with you in €?

Once you arrive Germany;
1. Get your SIGNED house/apartment contract ready. If you have not found an apartment, start searching before you come
2. Book appointment at your residence City Centre/Rathaus
3. Receive your City Registration Certificate and request for your TAX ID
4. Take the City Registration Certificate, your passport, enrollment certificate, tax certificate and other documents to a popular bank of your choice (I use Sparkasse) and enquire for the BEST account for students without monthly deductions
5. Get your account number and bank card, upload your Passport with the Entry Stamp and fill your bank details to the Fintiba App
6. Your monthly allowance will first come in less than 3 days of supplying those info. You will receive the amount from when you blocked the account to when you supplied the information.
7. Afterwards, you will be paid every 1st day of the month.

Yes. Type ruropass online CV editor. That's what I used to create my CV for admission then. Use europass format, the university professors prefer CV format they are familiar with.

Hello guys

Please has anyone done or knows someone who funded his fintiba account using the fintiba transfer third party, TransferMate?

Is this trusted?
how long can it take?
Do I need to get anything from my local bank?

Thanks

It's trusted just like every other online transactions.
It takes up to 3 business days
You only need your debit card details.

Have you used it before with a Nigerian debit card?

So many people have asked about this so called transfermate on this thread. Not a single person has come out to say "Yes I used transfermate with a NIGERIAN DEBIT Card and it worked".

I'll like to see the op try and give us feedback.

Hello everyone,
Please I will like to ask "is it late to apply for winter semester?", seeing that application has closed for most of the schools.
Or is it better to wait till next year?
Anyone with information on open biology related courses should let me know.
Thank you.

This 'I hope it works for you' dun weak me.

Please, if anyone has gone through transfermate, kindly notify us.

Even at the Zenith bank today, many guys there were like the money is too big to take that risk, which is obvious. Only one guy told me that it will go through once I have a mastercard, daily limit not withstanding and he has seen it. When I asked if it was with transfermate, he said no, it was another third party guys.

I even mailed fintiba to know if some Nigerians have used that in their immediate past record. Waiting for their response though.

It’s not too late to apply for winter semester..if my memory serves me well, I think you still have till July 15 which is the deadline .

Use access bank form A

A friend of mine in Access told me form A is for school fees or medical bills. I was told same thing at Zenith.

Please has someone successfully blocked using form A?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by henrycare53(m): 1:13am On May 15, 2021
When he says "I hope it works" he sure know what he is saying,. Using a Nigerian card has put you at a disadvantage as there is international limit of about $100-$200 per month.

Best bet to fund your BA is to make use of of Form A with Sterling Bank, it takes less than a week to process if you have sufficient balance in your naira account. Ignore those banks saying Form A is for school fee and medical bills. I made use of Form A and a friend made use of it this year with no stress. Mine was even done by proxy.

I wish you the best.

Thanks for sharing the news, right now you can actually open a student bank account in Sparkasse without doing city registration although you would have to provide the Tax ID and co within 6 months. All you need is a housing contract and your visa, then you are good to go at any Sparkasse branch. For those who don't get early appointments in their cities, this can be helpful.

Tranfermate can't work in Nigeria, only works for credit cards and Unfortunately all we have are debit cards in Nigeria.

You should upload scanned originals and do not have to be certified hence they're original copies. But when mailing, you need to send certified copies because you MUST NOT mail your original documents to anyone unless you're physically with the person(s).

Is it not stated on the uni website? Like in my case, I applied directly. The school wanted me to upload scanned certified copies of my documents.

Guten Tag folks, hope y’all are keeping safe. I recently moved to Frankfurt and would like to connect with brothers/sisters within the city. Would be nice to make new friends to help with the change. Please shoot me a message if you’re around FRA and kind enough to help a brother.
Cheers and thanks.
