Because we have Nigeria players there and we want them to win something you dig ?

If Villarreal is playing Barca in a final almost everyone here will want Villarreal to win apart from Barca fans

Despite them knowing Barca will beat Villarreal they will still support Villarreal just as I am doing to Leicester while I already predicted earlier that Chelsea will win

I will agree with with you calling me a Chelsea hater but I won’t agree for others loyal super eagles fans here grin

Unwanted in Brugge, unconvincing in Cologne, the future does not look so bright for the young Nigerian forward

With two rounds of matches left to play in the German Bundesliga, FC Cologne have decided that Emmanuel Dennis would no longer be part of their plans as the club try to avoid relegation to the lower tier.

Dennis has not been called up to the club’s quarantine training camp, which opened on Wednesday evening.

According to the Geiss Blog, Cologne will stay in isolation at the Schlosshotel in Bensberg until their last home game of the season against FC Schalke 04 but without one of their Nigerian imports.

Youngster Tolu Arokodare is also at the club, and he makes the team despite not scoring a league goal since joining the Billy Goats on loan last season.

But it is Dennis, who was loaned from Club Brugge for 1.2 million euros in January, who has been the bigger flop.

The 23-year-old Nigerian winger-turn-striker left Belgium after falling out with Brugge manager Philippe Clement, but he has failed to convince in Germany.

Dennis had a promising start to life in the Bundesliga, featuring prominently in his new club’s wins against Arminia Bielefeld (3-1) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (1-2).

But he could only manage one assist after his first seven league matches, and the problems began.

And after a silly mistake that saw him lose possession after attempting a dribble in the closing stages with Cologne trailing 2-1 at Union Berlin in mid-March, the Nigerian forward was left out of the squad that faced Borussia Dortmund and FSV Mainz 05.

Dennis was restored to the starting lineup by new boss Friedhelm Funkel in mid-April, but Cologne still fell 3-0 to Bayer Leverkusen.

And the manager may not have been impressed with Dennis as the Super Eagles ace did not get off the bench in the subsequent victories over RB Leipzig (2-1) and FC Augsburg (2-3).

Last Sunday, for the vital game against SC Freiburg, Dennis did not even make the matchday squad.

But it appears Dennis’ time in Cologne is now done with the Nigerian not joining the team in preparing for the final two Bundesliga games of the campaign.

Cologne sit second from the bottom and need to claim the remaining six points to stand any chance of avoiding the drop.

Musa is team captain dropping him will be difficult besides Ejuke himself haven't done anything to deserve invitation. A case can be made for Nwakali though but Shehu is more versatile plus maybe the coach likes him. Tribe should always be the last reason given for a player invitation, let us always analyse critically pulling out the tribe card seems like lazy intellect to me

What nonsense??

Wasn't Mikel the team's captain when he sat on the bench for most of the Afcon tourney? Wasn't that telling him that his time with the team was up?

Musa has no business with the team right now. He was clueless, yet he was invited, he's not yet hit it at Kano pillars he's still getting invites, is it till he's injured before we learn to move on away from him?

If I say chuks was better than ferran Torres in Laliga you need to believe me because I have even criticized Chuks also till his latest good form

And this is chukwueze 3rd season in Laliga if I am not mistaken with 12 goals in 91 league games

Firstly, answer my question and tell me who should replace Ezenwa. Stop being a coward, oga. I questioned you in because you have a known reputation.

Actually, Ezenwa has no biz on the list if we want to simply use judging on whar is ongoing in the League. Infact he isn't performing any better than 4 other league goalies.

So, yeah, Inclusive is biased!!

Replacement??

Okay na but I have seen a lot already, enough to reach a logical and factual conclusion that Rohr is not 100% in charge of players invitations.

I was wondering how Onuachu will be missing in the list despite his over 30 goals this season.

Well, let us say it was an oversight.

Over a dozen list and the same same style of triple forwards the size of the Midfield. I expect Onuachu to start though.

I'm not basing my judgement just based on tomorrow's game but since tomorrow's game is a reflection of the overall season, we can get an idea who was overall better this season based on tomorrow's and Tuesday game
When Torreira vs Kante Happened with Martinelli brilliance that night, does it mean Torreira was better?

This one is for individual. Kante or Ndidi might perform excellently and still lose. They aren't both 11players na

The thing is baffling, to think that Rohr has drawn up to eight consecutive lists with a scarcity of midfielders shows there's something fundamentally wrong with him

He isnt in charge of this draft! This should be obvious to all of us on here by now!!

That Onuachu brouhaha yesternight is another proof to that effect.

Even if he isn't in charge of the draft, he should be in charge of the number of players in every department, penning down three natural midfielders in a squad of 23-31 should be ringing alarm bells from the very first start!

I think the Onuachu scenario was a mistake from the NFF handler because his name were in the lists released by other sources
