Hello everyone, good evening to you all. To start with, most times, I feel emotional and mental drainage. I feel dejected and depressed. Currently, I'll be 29 years old in few months time, but I don't even have a girlfriend. Not to talk of marriage and having children. I work as a teacher in a secondary school. So, most of the times, I just decide to gist with my students to take some weighty depressing thoughts off my mind. Quite alright, I've male colleagues, but they are all married with children, so I'm the only odd one aside from another guy who is planning on his introduction soon. I can categorically say that about 95% of the girls that I approach usually turn me down. The little 5% that remains are only ready for chop me I chop you, which I'm not interested in. I also want a good life, with a blessed wife and good children. The thoughts are sickening. To make matters worse, I'm the only child of my mother. I feel God isn't just on my side. Please, what else should I do? I can't write everything as I feel, but this is just a part of it all. Please, BE REAL. NO JOKES. |

Quick question: are you ready for marriage? |

Besides being a teacher currently, in what ways are you working on improving yourself? Are you taking courses? Making plans to push beyond your current position or you're just fine where you are? Are you bold? Do you take bold decisions? Are you still living comfortably with parents (this is not bad, but don't feel too relaxed because mummy/daddy are there). Don't meet girls having ONLY an intention of starting a relationship. Talk to people, connect, make friends, go out. Plus, never ever compare your life to that of others. You are You. Not because others are getting married you wan force yourself to marry. Live your life and everything will fall in place. |

The most important is readiness for marital life. Are you physically, spiritually & materially ready? Marriage is not a record-breaking achievement. |
