Good evening everyone.
Please I would like to know if anyone wrote the exam for the Delta State ihub ICT for youth empowerment program.
Have the program started yet?
I passed the exams,I even went through the oral interview but I haven't heard back since.
I've tried calling their numbers but it always rings with no answer.
I've checked the website and there's no info about it. I am just confused.
I'm really into in this web training,and it's a boost for the unemployed.

I heard they sent SMS to those who qualified for the program.

A source I know that applied told me it's starting 18th Tuesday this week

This is a lovely innovation if done right. However, The Nigerian system has made us so reliant on government. Whereas you can get all the required IT skills from the comfort of your home. Sites like edx, udemy, Google for Africa, coursera offer free courses.

Also you can make money using skills you got from these sites to also earn money from the comfort of your home. This is where sites like upwork, Fiverr and freelancer come in place.

If you can't write, you can start a YouTube page. The opportunities are enormous. Just Google some of these things and you'd get loads of results. However if you are looking for someone to put you through these things. The same way most recruiters go ahead with successful candidates for the next stage without informing those who did not make it to the next round is the same pattern the organizers adopted. They've since moved on with the successful candidates.
