Who are the useless Senator who approve these appointments without bringing in Federal Character as a standard in the screening process? Sometimes I believe most of our legislators do not even know their job than to go there and say I - The I's have it bla bla bla What a joke these Senators are - Where the Hell is the FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSION ? everything to the north? |

Lastmankc:So many people don't know what happens in such money spinning parastatals. Npa is one of them. From time immemorial, Npa has predominantly had a northerner as MD. It is a must! Infact before obj came in 1999, you cannot pass the ground floor of Npa headquarters in marina without being and aboki or speaking their language. The place was like a mosque with malam praying everywhere. You see stark illiterate malam climbing upstairs and getting million naira LPO, and then selling to southerners taking huge % upfront. Making millions in munites! I know cos I tried to register as a contractor. Paid 100k for registration and it went just like that. Only aboki gets work. Obj came and changed things, diluting the workforce with southerners. But ofcourse, block heads voted an ethnic bigot and took us years back. I hear Npa has returned to its former ways where it's is not the birth right of the northerners who in the first instant do not have ports in the north! |

Why is Hadiza so corrupt, she completely deviated from what her dad stood for, that is integrity, transparency and uprightness. |

The problem in all of these is the president. He’s the one allowing the breach of protocol and communication line and heads of agencies are now taking it to another level. An Obasanjo for example would never have allowed the MD or board chairman to boycott the minister in violation of the establishment act. I still remember when Bode George who was then the chairman of NPA attempted to get a direct approval for a policy from the president because of their closeness, Obasanjo simply told him to go back and pass through the minister. |

This news was not well reported. U don't have to fill ur report with tautology in a bid to make ur write-up voluminous. Quality is important in mode of reportage. More than 7 lines of statement saying the same point. Anyways, what do I know Sha? |

flemsy15:Armed Robbers went on an operation and left out one of them during the sharing of the loot. The robber that was left oit reported to the Police and all the robbers were arrested and the society was the better for it. When someone exposes or speaks against corruption and your response is to try to discredit the person and his or her action by claiming without evidence that he or she did what she did because she was left out of the sharing formula, you should know that you are not being neutral but supporting corruption indirectly. The society gets better when corruption is exposed and not when people who expose or fight corruption are undermined! What do you think the society gains when people who expose corruption are shamed to keeping quiete and looking the other way? If you do not have anything to say, it is better to be quiete than to be a subtle enemy of the society by your words. |

Agugbadin: criminalmindz:Don’t know the woman from a can of beans... But don’t let MISOGYNY get the better of your judgment. So you think she was suspended for corruption? And yet the same government PROUDLY RE-APPOINTED her for another 5 years a few months ago. LOL! Nigerians can be so GULLIBLE... She’s charged with FINANCIAL wrongdoing, but the chief FINANCIAL officer has replaced her. LMAO! >

Babinski: ![]() So exactly what “corruption” did Senator Binta expose? That she was “uncomfortable” with the way NPA was run but remained on the board? Btw, Nigeria has a Code of Corporate Governance... So if a board member has issues about financial matters, it’s referred to the Audit Committee. But Senator Binta knows that Nigerians are GULLIBLE enough to believe any BS... So she stayed on the board until replaced by Buhari in January, and said nothing until now? SMDH > |
