While the wannabe investigator did some great work, you only have to read some few paragraphs to sense the predictable arrogance you get when a typical Nigerian give too much credit to themselves. That David's insinuations was laced with amateurism, naivety, and arrogance. His lack of objectivity and critical analysis of all his claims rendered the entire work laughable. A mad man with a pen on social media is just as dangerous as a mad man with a gun on the street in a place like Nigeria. |

Like you have half the courage to take on his works nor half his BRAIN to execute it. Yes, I said it. Bring the "amateurish" report he made here and shred it to pieces with your own critical thinking, or go take it up with him. Ana— Because of a misleading heading now, the guy is now a mad man. jelel6:I agree that David was just trying to show that he's good with investigation which he's not really good as he made people believe. But still yet, it's obvious that boy was not acting alone. And the police and some powerful people are tryna sweep the case under the carpet. |

24kmagic:that's not the only fact. That's the only only thing he admitted, he even said it was self defense. If you are not a supporter of evil you'll definitely agree that all he said were lies upon lies. 1 He said she hit him with a stabilizer on his forehead and he bled but there was no sign of injury on his head. 2 he said she hit him wen he removed the condom. Why would someone who agreed to have sex with you willingly suddenly turn aggressive and hit u with a stabilizer just because you removed the condom, even if such thing happened, it would be that he removed the condom and she didn't want to continue with the sex so she tried to get off him while he refused, hence she was the one that was defending herself even if she used a stabilizer to hit him because the initial arrangement was that he'll use a condom. 3 when did the press start interviewing a murder suspect? Like he was brought out, sat down on a chair then they called channels TV, AIT, NTA and other media houses to come interview him. When did criminal suspects start having press conferences? Note that he has been detained for more than a week already. He has not been tried or charged to court and they invited media houses to come interview him.... Like WTF is that? 4 why did they hurriedly bury the victim before the case even reached court? Even if they have done an autopsy, during court sessions a new autopsy can be done on the request of a lawyer. 5 how did this dude manage to convince her that there was no job, he lied to her, and she'll immediately forgive him, forget about the job she travelled for, readily speedily agree to have sex with him in an uncompleted building in a matter of minutes, no be juju be that? Aaaah. Bro I don't need to be an investigator to spot these obvious truths. |

What happened to the six other women he raped? why did they not report it? You see my people, the amount of rape cases that goes unreported in this country is magnanimous. |

patrickmuf:I made the point in the previous thread. He might have done some good investigative work, but was too impatient rushing to half baked conclusions Anyone familiar with the HIV program around 2013, - 2015 in the South East states would most definitely have come across the name CCCR. Apart from providing free services and drugs to HIV patients, they were holding regular trainings for medical and nursing students. I personally attended and benefitted from a number of the trainings in Enugu I think they left the SE around 2018 or so when their grant ended and now moved to Akwa Ibom. Yet one guys was claiming they were ghost NGo involved in human parts trafficking. Such a sick, wicked joke. |

Magnoliaa:This riled you up? Maybe he doesn't deserve that tag but I'll tell you why he's fair game... MtcheeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwReally? hilarious though! But you could have helped me and my limited brain power by using some of the excess Es and Ws to complete those abbreviations below. I guess I'm in no position to ask for favours, no? The eau de audacity social media gave some of you people, ehn. O ga. Like you have half the courage to take on his works nor half his BRAIN to execute it. Yes, I said it. Bring the "amateurish" report he made here and shred it to pieces with your own critical thinking, or go take it up with him. Ana—I said he did some great work. I meant that. In fact, I referenced some unanswered questions David's report highlighted that those journalists who had the opportunity to question the confessed killer DIDN'T care to ask or follow up. Again, I thought it was a great effort at facts finding by David. Even if he made mistakes there, I can't complain, especially if they seem honest. But David played many things in that report - Investigator, law enforcer, prosecutor, jury, judge, and executioner. While there are some of his claims which needs to be followed up meticulously and by the right people, a lot of his conclusions were quite naive and too simplistic (like his guilty by association, location, relation, and ownership stance), hence, lack objectivity. At that point, it's all amateurish. One can't help but have the feeling he's not just doing due diligence hoping he catches co-conspirators, if any. He actually WANTs it that there are co-conspirators. Talk about people who don't know when to draw the line... And how can I have the courage of somebody whose nameline vanquished Goliath? And maybe courageous David is the most brilliant mind ever, just maybe. But remember, when a matter reaches a person for judgement (we are all judges), the only thing that person owes theirselve is to be just and fair. And that's the only thing they can promise the parties involved: justice and fairness. Nothing else. Because of a misleading heading now, the guy is now a mad man. Laughable. And ironic you don't see your message staring back at you.[/color]If you still think the headline informed my position about the report, nothing I can say further will register with you. No, the irony is you think David's report and motivation is beyond reproach. And that I even have the audacity to question the author on his turf: social media. Where he has garnered many sympathisers and fellow grand conspiracy theorists, who would stop at nothing but to blame ALL the problems since existence on a scapegoat. David cannot be likened to a mad man with a pen, but he can call an NGO "ghost"? I can only wonder how the honest men and women who are behind that NGO felt when they were christened as "ghosts". Maybe, just maybe, some or all those people David's report presumed guilty before trial simply because of association, relation, location, and ownership are innocent after all. Ma'am, have you thought for a slight second, what they too could have lost before all the dust settles since we all are following hunches and gut feelings now? David's report made some enormous claims (conspiracies, organ syndicate, cover-ups). He's playing a high stake game of poker. The reward and punishment for the winners and losers respectively is at the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows. Hence, As far as constructive criticisms (maybe libel too) go, DAVID IS FAIR GAME. The most COURAGEOUS are those who are given rifles to literally go and die. But even they would realise that sometimes, the end (kill or be killed) shouldn't always justify the means. Sometimes, it takes even more courage NOT to fight. |

bjtinz:The thing week me...I have a lot of folks working with them so, when I read the whole thing at first, I assumed it was down to misinformation but then, Nigerians have decided to take it up without simple research of the organization...It's really a wicked joke, one that can see potential donors become skeptical of their activities...They should have sued for damages and not stop at this apology just to teach others a lesson. |

| Re: Iniubong Umoren, CCCRN: Newswire Admits Error, Retracts Story Linking NGO by Wasky101: 8:55am On May 18, 2021 |
frankson1:All he did was access the guys phone records(bravo). And then started churning out fairy tales to suit his narrative. Which is very clear, build the story around Apkabio. Everyone who had contact with the murderer has given reasons why they contacted him. The investigative journalist has given ownership of the hotel to Apkabio He has linked the murderer's uncle to Apkabio just because he worked with the NDDC( is the man responsible for all staff of NDDC). Is his motive not clear enough |
| Re: Iniubong Umoren, CCCRN: Newswire Admits Error, Retracts Story Linking NGO by frankson1(m): 9:30am On May 18, 2021 |
Wasky101:The call records also showed that he called the police man who eventually 'arrested' him. I strongly believe that the murderer have strong backing. Imagine the police men in their interview calling him by his name instead of the usual 'suspect' they use. It's so sad that this is one of the many cases that the villains will go unpunished. |
