Nonsense no yahoo boy deserves to be arrested and jailed. The govt own these youth the power to channel their illegitimate business to positivity.Jailing or arrest is not the solution.

Europeans will rather give their yahoo boys jobs or light sentences1-2yrs jail term or community service).

You dont destroy your child because he is engaged in wrong vices, you must redirect them to a legitimate means of livelihood.
Lol. Funny. Please check the jail term for money/wire fraud in the developed countries. You can only redirect a gifted child but truth is most of these Yahoo boys are not gifted in anyway, they are only criminals and deserve to be punished

If yu dey into Street or dey press piano, abeg staywoke cuz Efcc miscreants don disguise enter hood dey find who dem go brace gov't bangle

Nobody will join any senseless protest against the EFCC. Nigeria needs the EFCC, but the agency just has to improve.

As a matter of fact, we should be protesting against Yahoo boys, bad polticians and drug peddlers giving Nigeria a bad image.

God bless you imagine such headline why won't efcc harrase we southerners
ShenTeh:
This headline is divisive and judgmental.

This is biased.

The EFCC needs to go back to the drawing board and improve on their tactics and get real results.

While I do not hold brief for the Yahoo Boys (and murderous money ritualists that most of them are), the EFCC no longer has balls to take on the real criminals of our common-wealth -the greedy politicians and pen-robbers but they keep harassing imaginary criminals.

Once EFCC grabs you, be sure you are guilty. They will cook up one charge against you and in Nigeria, everyone is guilty until proven innocent guilty.

Breaking into people's houses in the middle of the night sometimes with no clear evidence or permit is wicked, primitive and unacceptable.

If the EFCC and other law enforcement agencies in Nigeria do not develop and adopt new crime fighting technologies in line with global best practices, then they should forget about this their charade all together.

Well said

It's crazy to break into people's house during the midnight, this translate to nothing but robbery

We have lots of hardworking young men who are into legitimate online business

On this same nairaland, we've seen members who teaches legitimate business like freelancing & many are cashing out millions of naira on monthly basis, some are into affiliate marketing etc

Making money in legitimate ways

There is no justification for engaging in fraud. These bastards have destroyed the image of the country in international communities and it is hard for a legit Hard Working Nigerian Youth to get an online job these days as a result of the activities of these bad elements in our society.

Police should arrest all those protesting with their sympathizers and na Ogun go kill any pro Yahoo guys way wan quote me.
