I just read something online about the sources of the yearly revenue of the United States...and it shocked me to see thess guys get more than 50% of their yearly revenue from taxes thats like trillions of dollars every year...like w.t.f...

I am by no means an economics expert or some bulls*it ...infact I don't know anything about economics...

I know this might sound really displeasing to some of us, but imagine if we could create a system that really works where individuals are payed right and every one pays taxes.. like a system where it is impossible to evade tax(when we gat good leadership of course, where looting is also gone, just imagining)... don't you guys think our own revenue and g.d.p what so ever would skyrocket and lead to massive development in every aspect....what do you think...

Tax system won't work here. Our resource control is a form of tax that is enforced by FG already and it isn't fair. If govt can take ND oil and spare SW & NW gold for illegal miners, what makes you think a right thinking ND man will want to pay tax when he has already been robbed regionally?
You take the oil the state govts are suppose to engage to employ their state people before they pay salary based taxes then waste the resources and expect them to pay you taxes after surviving on their. Water and light is generated by businesses at higher rate because the centre is a failure and you want them to pay tax from their little profits. That's why we need to restructure this diplomatic robbery called Nigeria to move forward. Everyone needs it.

Unless you don't have any alternative but to pay as is the case with government workers...., otherwise paying taxes to this clan of thieves in government, willingly, doesn't project you as a bright character..

It's like paying armed robbers or kidnappers.

And what if nigeria govt provide job for 70% of it population?

Miners have their license from the federal ministry of mines.

There are many types of taxes .

Every body pays tax the moment they spend money

Stop this nonsense , there is no Nigerian living or dead that doesn't pay one form of tax or the other ..you can't escape taxation
