My cousin is saving his funds there for the 28days count but i thought proof of finances is only allowed from commercial banks.

You can only apply for a renewal when your passport is less than six months to expire else it will be rejected. Alternatively if it's still more than six months you can only claimed that your passport was stolen or got missing before you can apply for a replacement.

Lagos IOM isn't responding to their mails and I tried using another email but I keep getting error messages. Can someone please help me with an active phone number I can call them on?
