Hi, Good thing you want to go the lithium way, As par local suppliers ojesky gave a suggestion to this in one of his earlier post, about those who import and couple cells locally, you might want to engage them to get what best suits you as they might give you the freedom of testing .... Or You can buy several known brands locally available like Pylontech of different energy variant, BYD, BSLBATT, Dryness and others ... These you get what their spec sheet states. MontyNG: 1 Like |

Thanks. I've been seeing different brands... I saw pylon tech, felicity, and blue cloud. Still researching Do you have contacts of folks who assemble locally? olopan: 1 Like |

Hi if you can make your loads more efficient in bold, you can get a better run hour/back-up time If you run your refrigeration during day hours, then you have a more backup time to run other things at night I can share with you a form/doc to know your usage pattern which will stand as real-time reference to prevent a poorly designed solution for you soladavies: |

OCTAVO:3 years running, I use both induction and infrared cookers. The induction ones are way faster and more energy efficient but become problematic when you need low heating (most do a PWM kinda regulation rather actual power reduction). One could say the same of the infrared ones except they have better temperature control due to the stove surface itself being heated 1 Like |

earthrealm:Varies. My dual infrared burner is rated 750W and 1.5kW and the 750W cooks everything but the largest pots (gets rather slow). The 1.5kW is used for afternoon cooking when I'm getting anywhere from 2kW to 3.5kW from the panels. The Andrew James induction cookers are dual and single rated as 1,000W & 1,500W for the dual and 1,500W for the single. The 1,500W burners are used only when the sun is out. 200AH 48V VRLA bank with backup similar FLA bank. No problems yet despite aging batteries. My best induction cooker has been a nameless brand bought on Jumia. Actually throttles back on power instead of pulsing it. Worked wonderfully until I met it in a pool of water one evening. Power IC promptly died and haven't been able to replace it (has no legible inscription on it) 1 Like |
