My chest, shoulders are horrible with pimples. I've always had acne in my pregnancies but this one is worse. Coupled with a big wide nose and swollen face.

To the glory of God I welcomed my prince charming on 16th may via elective Cs.
This pregnancy was a different one from the previous two so I thought the baby will be a princess. I already had two previous cs so the need for the elective.
I checked in to the hospital on the 15th midnight, the necessary documents were signed. The next day, early in the morning I was shaved clean by the nurse, I changed my clothes to the surgery one then off to the theater. The anaesthesia came in around 6:30am and explained the spinal process to me, then he gave me the spinal injection and within 5minutes I felt the numbness on my two legs, they told me to try lifting my legs but I couldn't, they were so heavy. Then the cutting started, my baby was brought out after 10minutes doing fine and started crying. I was stitched up back but it took longer time because of the previous scars.
I chose to do the spinal CS (the one I will open my eyes during the process and not sleep) because I have done the sleeping one before and didn't like the experience.
To the glory of God, am signing out of child bearing and facing motherhood squarely with two spinal CS and one general anesthetic cs experiences.

I wish all the remaining mamas safe delivery and a stress free pregnancy.

Greetings Mama: So sorry you are growing through fibroid pains, it's no joke! Fibroids are vascular tumors with a rich blood supply. Sometimes they outgrow their blood supply and start to degenerate and my Sister, the pain of that one is more than childbirth! I experienced that for my second pregnancy. I ended up in the Emergency Department several times because of it and I did have to take IV pain medications, which thankfully did not affect the baby. If the pain is not too much, one thing that helps is rest. Get off your feet and relax on the sofa or bed once the pain starts. With my fourth pregnancy, my Obstetrician prescribed a muscle relaxant called Flexeril and that worked like a charm, though it made me sleepy. You should also be seeing a specialist to monitor growth of the fibroid. Have you had an ultrasound? Is the uterine fibroid inside or outside the womb?

Thanks for the warm welcome Futuremoma! It is much appreciated! As a spinster, I had irregular menstrual cycles and I was nervous that this would make it difficult to get pregnant. I shared this with hubby before marriage ( I know, very risky move ) but he wasn't worried. And he was right, we got pregnant within my first menstrual cycle in my husband's house. By 12 weeks along, I started to palpate a hardness close to my uterus; uterine fibroid! No idea I had it because it was silent and never bothered me before pregnancy. This thing began to grow with the pregnancy causing incredible pain. I eventually gave birth at full term and I decided to surgically remove the fibroid after a few months. The surgery was scheduled and everything was set and boom! Found out I was pregnant again . See tears hahaha. Same story with the second; high risk and having to see specialists throughout. Ended up giving birth at full the again. Two vaginal births. The fibroids shrinks all the way after childbirth and never bothers me until I am pregnant again so I decided to leave it alone. After a few years I caught baby fever and we tried again. Got pregnant on the first try and I was expecting fibroid wahala but this time it was preeclampsia. Ended up giving birth preterm with CS. She is fine now, healthy and perfect. Gave birth to the fourth one, 6 weeks ago, had preeclampsia again and baby was born 3 weeks to EDD, CS with general anesthesia....anesthesiologist couldn't get an epidural in, they almost paralyzed me after trying for over 2 hours. Baby is healthy at home now, eating like a lion and sleeping like a tree

Goodevening house.

i went for scan today and is measuring behind from my counting. from my counting i suppose to be 11weeks, my LMP was 4th March but scan measured 8weeks 6days though everything is just ok, and i saw my LO wiggling hands and legs, the baby i have prayed and waited for good 3years.

i was counting my self as TEAM DEC but scan gave me 9/11/2021 so am now TEAM NOVEMBER.
