sarrki:This information is inaccurate. Data from NBS for 2020 FAAC and IGR states that LASG received 115bn as allocation from FG and IGR was 483bn. So how did LASG get 429 extra that they contributed to FG? Is LASG claiming they generated over 800bn in IGR? Which is practically, logically, scientigically and mathematically impossible. I implore you to try and verify information which is publicly available rather than believe politicians that throw figures to gullible public to massage their egos. visit: https://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/ and educate yourself. |

This is the first time I'm hearing this, I thought the states are meant to keep their own IGR for their development purposes. The senate president lawan said it recently when he was commenting on restructuring, saying "federal government did not ask states for their IGR, so what are they restructuring?" |

pls sb should avail me the data of revenue contributed by the whole northern states to federal government account, the answer is approximately zero; thats is why they are against restructuring Even the herdmens men activities that the northern elites are supporting is not adding any monetary value to the federal government account, so why should the government even thought of wasting tax payers money to building ranches for them; the herdmens are private businesses that dont even pay tax of any kind, This country is a BIG FRAUD |

Yoruba land feeding Nigeria for too long. Nigeria took over many Yoruba properties such as Our TV station, turned it to NTA, took over our radio station, took over our Western house and turned it to Nigeria embassy in London. Nigeria is a cancer to Yoruba Nation, we need to get rid of it. |

Too many dummies here. Have you guys asked yourselves how much of the money generated by the Lagos State government end up in the pockets of some northern governors whose states are contributing next to nothing into the federal government's account? If 70% of the money generated in Lagos is used for the development of the state, it would be standing head and shoulders with the best cities in Africa and I dare to say some of the best cities in the world. |
| Re: Lagos Contributed ₦428.98 Billion Into FG IGR In 2020 by Nwakannaya1: 10:49am On May 21, 2021 |
Olatomiwami:Does it change the fact that those people contributed over 50%? Lagos was the capital of Nigeria for decades, you guys tend to forget that status, Lagos was invested in with national money just like present day Abuja, no part of Nigeria would get national presence like Lagos did those years and remain the same. If e pain you, hug transformer, anywhere there is federal presence would definitely have market for different products and once it does, you gonna have those people there but unlike others these people contribute to the development of where there reside. |
