Hi guys, please can someone help advise on this issue. I may be eligible for EE FSW application as I currently have about 481 points. I already submitted my Study Permit Application and although I know dual intent is not a crime I have some concerns. I am contemplating entering the pool now since I stated in my SOP that I intend to come back after my study permit. And would not want it to reduce my chances of getting a study permit as the VO handling my case may use it against me that he is not satisfied I would leave Canada after my studies. In this scenario, what do you guys advise I do. Should I enter the pool now, in case a round of ITA comes up for FSW, or should I wait and get my study permit first before entering the pool. Would really appreciate a response on this. |

Gracehayford1: I think they're both effective but QLife is cheaper. |

ritzzybaron:You will have to defer to that February, unless you want to change school and start the whole application process for a new school all over again. You will travel in January with your old and new LOA, while in Canada you apply for study permit extension. |

awoscop:I won't want to discourage you, especially when you have a strong conviction that you can pull it through and defend your reason for choosing another bachelor's degree, but ideally and sincerely going for a post graduate degree is your best fit |

Johanneiyoha: Hello Johanneiyoha, Are there any evidence for the previous sponsorship and were the sponsorship under the umbrella of the Church? If the Church is sponsoring you, then the one year tuition and living expenses should be made available to you. The best way to go is to sponsor you as an individual rather than as an organization. Since the said person has played the role of a guardian for a long while, and with justifiable evidence, it will be more ideal to pass the person as a guardian than a family friend. Best of Luck |

Hello Nairaland, I need help finding an IELTS training body around lekki that gets me my money's worth with a reasonable price.. Found one recently and they're charging me 60k which seems on the high side. Please point me towards the right direction. I'll be taking the test in a few months. Alchemist01: |

TennieYF: Hi TennieYF, If truly you have that high CRS score I see no reason for you to have considered study route application to Canada for many reasons. 1. For that high score it is highly unikely for you not to get an ITA when a new draw is announced, if you are in the pool. 2. It is cheaper to school in Canada as a PR candidate than as a foreign student, infact it is like 3x more expensive as a foreign student, so shouldn't you take that discount benefit, if truly you have that high score. I would suggest you enter the pool so that you do not miss the next draw. You can as well wait for gurus to offer their premium opinion on this. 2 Likes |

awoscop: Hello Awoscop, Both suit your work experience, but it boils down to your job duties/responsibilities and knowledge in the respective field/program/course. It will be better to use the above-mentioned to assess your study preference and also, which most justifies your career advancement, self-development, and relates to your future plans. As a Chemical Operator, Environmental Science suits your experience adequately. But it boils down to what you intend to achieve. Brandon is a good institution too and the program there is a Master. If you don't know how to go about writing your letter (SOP/LOE), reach out to GCMSWriters on IG and/or Twitter. Best of Luck |

EmeeNaka: Two things, check their refund policy because some schools would state that they won't fully refund. Then secondly check if the school is genuine because there are many fraudulent schools out there. If possible let someone in Canada confirm that this school exist and its not another Trump University. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by JustMellow: 10:22am On May 21, 2021 |
TennieYF: Hello TennieYF, Please, jump into the pool so as to stamp your entering date close to the tie-breaking rule. When packaging your SP application, package or treat it as a separate application. Work at meeting the eligibility requirement of SP and show justifiable home ties whether or not the PR application has been submitted. Best of Luck |

SonofEguasa: I tried sending u mail but maybe u didn't get it. I wanted to ask how u were able to get your tuition receipt from school. Is it same as evidence of payment generated and sent to my KPU mail? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by JustMellow: 10:30am On May 21, 2021 |
afeezzezo: Yes, you can. This is to enable the third-party website to forward the notes upon receiving it from IRCC. For the third-party website to request your notes, the application number is what they required and of course, a duly signed consent form. |
