SPARE PARTS TRADERS VS FULANI HERDSMEN: THE REAL ANALOGY!!!

I called oga Tony who sells Toyota spare parts in Bauchi state and this is what he told me:

*I rented a shop, paid all the fees and moved in with the consent of the warehouse owner.

*I pay various taxes and Levies including security and sanitation.

*I pay signage fee for advertising my shop through a signboard.

*I pay for business premises yearly.

*I pay for public utilities that I don't enjoy.

*I registered my business with the appropriate state ministry.

* I paid operational licence to the Bauchi state Government and yearly renewal charge.

* I engage and pay boys from this state who offload market for me upon arrival from onitsha.

* I have two boys from this state as apprentice under training.

* I regularly pay many other ridiculous and obnoxious fees/charges.

*I pay for security and help security agencies by volunteering information to make their job easier.

*I rented a flat where I reside with my family and pay the landlord regularly. I maintain all the fixtures, rules and regulations of the house where i Iive.

*I do not shoot or kill my customers who are majorly from this state.

*I do not grab people's shop or warehouses by force for my business.

*I pay for everything that will help my business either to individuals, the state or local government. I don't get anything for free here.

* I contribute to their GDP. My children are all in school here and pay school fees. We use the hospitals and pay. We patronise fast foods and restaurants, even pepper soup isiewu nde awusa "John ogwula". I buy fuel for my cars and generators. Tell me what nde fulani contribute to our economy back home?. Don't we still pay for their cows we consume?

ME: Why can't fulani people pay for what they need to grow their own business?? What do these nomads contribute to their host states in the Southeast?? Must we be dragged and held down by a people that refuses to advance??

What is our country turning into?

Turning into a FAILED STATE. In a FAILED STATE anything goes, including petty criminals engaging in kidnaps.
Sadly, because they are not professional kidnappers, they will take the money and kill the children out of panic.

Some mumu parents still let their children below six years to walk to and fro from school to house alone

The poverty rate in the country has made a lot of parents to abandon their duties. I saw a girl of about six years backing her little brother of about two on their way to school in lagos.. They were looking so unkempt and am sure they didn't take their bath in the morning. A lot of kids in public schools goes to school alone without any guidance

I hope they beat the shit out of him.

Our useless government only knows how to pass a bill to punish ransom payers to kidnappers but no punishment for the kidnappers themselves.

The days are now getting dark, in reference to this, one ordeal experience also happened last week, a aboki man was acting disguised trying to have canal knowledge with just a five years old girl allegely state her mom wasn't present according to some eyewitness ,which responsible mother will abandon just five years old kid for what purpose exactly!! If we don't act in a conscientious manner and clear off mediocrity then i believe this ordeals becoming rampant in the the society sporadically is not going to stop anytime soon

Disclaimer ❗️Disclaimer ❗️ Disclaimer❗️

Good day dear Parents/Guardians,
This is to notify you that there was no kidnap at Royal Touch International School, Abuja yesterday, 18th May, 2021.

The real story ❗
There was a man who came to the school. When we noticed that his movement and the type of questions he was asking was suspicious, we quickly invited the police who promptly arrested him and he was taken to the phase 4 police station.
As a result of police investigation, it was discovered that the man is mentally unstable.
With the police IPO, we were able to locate his family home in gbazango, off Arab road. The parents were advised to take him to a rehabilitation home.

When the man was being arrested, it was recorded and posted online by an unknown person.
The impression they are creating in the video is not the true reflection of what happened.
There was no incident of kidnapping (as portrayed in the video) in Royal Touch international school.
In view of the security situation in our dear country, we want to once again assure all our parents that your children are safe and we are taking all necessary measures to ensure that our children are learning in a safe and conducive environment.
Thank you all.

Nigerians need to calm down. Apparently, this is why countries release statistical data on everything.
It is not today that kidnappings have been happening in Nigeria. I remember the days of 'gbomogbomo'(Child kidnapper). Parents used to warm their wards seriously against strangers.

All these Nigerians on social media posting stupid stuff and scaring the liverless ones. We need to stop calling government and learn to take matters into our own hands in securing our communities.
In fact, a person has to be missing for at least 24 hours (this is the law in most countries) before the police start to take action.

New Zealand has the highest rate of kidnappings worldwide and yet their population is less than 5 million.

We seriously need to calm down and stop the scare mongering before we totally damage each individual's financial economy.

People that are on social media are the only ones afraid. Average everyday Nigerians are going about their normal day to day businesses unmindful of all the noises.
I was at a Lagos park yesterday by 6.30pm and commercial cars and buses were still loading passengers going to distant states.

Last week someone sent me a package through a park from Ilorin by 6pm, I thought it would arrive the next day, only for me to receive a call at midnight that my package had arrived. I was shocked.

Please let's stay safe by educating ourselves on security methods and also by being our brother's keepers.
