Ibo people and betrayal. Afonja learnt from them
You can say that again.. baba nla betrayers.

The SE governors in their minds think Fulanis will consider them for 2023 and drop other southerners for rejecting open grazing and demanding community policing.

I hope Igboho and others like him putting mouth in SE affairs can now see the kind of people they are dealing with.

They will attack you on Nairaland that you have refused to allow them go to biafra but see their elected governors saying they remain committed to one indivisible Nigeria.

Before nko?.. Snakes

They will say one thing and do the exact opposite.
In 2023, most people will be shocked with the way easterners will support and campaign for a Fulani PDP candidate over their fellow Southerner.

It's what they have been doing and what they will continue to do.
To be fair, Igbo governors have always been pro-establishment.

They have been consistent in that regard.

You won't ever see Igbo governors leading the charge for federalism or restructuring.

They are not that smart.
If it comes , fine, but it won't be from their efforts.

You can't see that the Igbo political elites and the average Igbo citizens are in two different camps.

You are not intelligent enough to see that no Igbo governor has the support of their own people.?

How I wish ESN will catch these governors and deal with them mercilessly.

Next time they will learn to speak for themselves and not Igbo nation.
We are too egalitarian for an individual to speak on our behalf.

Illiterate. You did not add anything intelligent to this thread.

The only thing you have done is to say what I already said in a crass , unrefined and bigoted way.
Re: We Are Committed To One United Nigeria – South-East Governors by adabaraabdul: 9:11pm On May 21, 2021
If the whole south east Governors can unilaterally come together to say this, then one should be sure the agitation for self determination of the terrorist group called Ipob is dead on arrival. I have always maintained that it won't work. A house divided amongst herself wil never stand. Food for thought.

You still don't get the implication of your elected governors making statements like this when ESN and UGM are killing in the east do you?

It explicitly shows that any Igbo man demanding for secession or biafura is anti-state and can be severely dealt with.

Stop writing nonsense.

The governors were elected. As such, they have the mandate to speak on behalf of the people they govern.

GOVERNOR DAVID Umahi: " He said: “We do not want to secede from Nigeria but we want a Nigeria where justice and equity prevails. We want peace.”

Laughable comment by Governor Umahi!
Behind this comment is his presidential ambition. His hope is RIP in my view.

In 2023, PDP will win the presidency of Nigeria. And that means Governor Umahi hope will dash-- mark my word. APC won presidency because Buhari was able to mobilize all the 19 states in the north. In 2023, Buhari is not going to be on the ticket and that means all northern Nigerian states will be up for grab. In this circumstance, PDP will mobilize old machines to pick up 10--12 states to win the presidency.

After PDP wins the presidency in 2023, Governor Umahi will defect to PDP. I know Governor Umahi. He loves sweet talk, but at the end of day, money is his interest.

Not when the Northern elites lend their voice for power to shift to the South.. most of them are already doing that.

Politics is not about emotions my friend.. the only card PDP has to play is fielding a Northerner with Igbo Vice which will fail.

After PMB completes 8 years, you now want to put North again because others don't know how to rule abi?

The only way these loudmouths can command any type of respect at all is for them to show something they asked for that the FG did for them. From terrible federal roads to suffocating marginalization and now even killing of Igbos in IGBOLAND!

How can these Govanors justify why they were against their people and for the Fulani Government? Yet, they are neither trusted by their people nor Fulanis.

I feel sorry for them because Fulani is using them and not giving them security so that their people can kill them out of anger.
The Federal Government that you foolish lots never went out to vote for or against. Yet you are asking them to go and beg.

Making observations our of thin air.

First and foremost, I don't know where "your" is coming from.

It seems there is something really wrong with you.

You are saying the same thing I am saying, but it is clear you are also interested in adding unnecessary bigotry and stupidity to it to pepper your Igbo enemies.

Secessionists will be dealt with it because the governors are pro-establishment.
Who denied that? Even a blind can see that.

So what innovative input have you added apart from being classless and adding the word "biafuro".

I am sure when you said "biafuro", you had an orgasm.
You have been waiting to write that all day.

Clown. Don't quote me again.
Wait for your Igbo enemies to comment.

I am done with you.

Umahi, between the two things you want - one Nigeria and justice/equity, which one is more expedient; or which one can become expendable?

Let me break this down for you so you can get my own angle..

For you to say someone is a governor in Nigeria, it means he or she is under oath to serve in that capacity as a Nigerian. and will never associate with or support secession openly.

Now that Northern leaders and governors are going around making divisive and inflammatory statements arrogantly as if they own Nigeria, no right thinking governor(s) from South should come out at this time saying they are committed bla bla bla. It's a sign of weakness and cowardice.

They are putting themselves and their people at the mercy of oppressive North making outspoken governors like Akeredolu look like a trouble maker.

If you still don't get it then that's your problem.
Re: We Are Committed To One United Nigeria – South-East Governors by Nobody: 9:51pm On May 21, 2021
Well I am not suprised

No matter the agitation, one Nigeria is better than splitting the country. Splitting the country is going to lead to a lot of complications and issues that would take years to sort...plus the new countries won't survive, because the biggest business in Nigeria is selling imported stuff.....and it is not going to change. (If any of the Nigerian regions were manufacturing for export, I would have had hopes....but no Nigerian region or state is doing that)

All the agitators for secession are doing so because they want more money to share....and chop. Development they know not.

Anyway, it would be better if the secessionists formed a party that works towards the amendment of the laws to make their goals acheivable...but instead they play at violence.

Finally, many of these organisations will fall by the wayside once it is election season, and once PDP takes over again. Many of them are composed of aggrieved PDP members who feel annoyed that the chopping no longer reacheth them.Once PDP is back, IPOB and co will become fringe organisations again. IPOB could not even organise a boycott of the 2019 elections because most of their members ran to take part.

Too bad the APC government is too inefficent to sort out the problems driving the secessionist movements...but then again, they are just another grouping for chopping.

Nigeria needs to wake up.

And I asked you to name one Governor from your region who is in support of seccession.

So it is a very terrible mindset for anybody to be doing this because INEC offices have not been burnt in South-West or other parts of the country so we don’t know who is doing this but I know that they are criminals,” he said.

Why are you bringing South West into this? Are you indirectly informing the miscreants to come and invade South West too? Bunch of cowards

If Igbo elected governors say they don't want biafura.. who will now demand for biafura on behalf of Igbos. Is it me? definitely not.

You blame Tinubu, the South West, the South South, the North, yet the South East Governors are singing one Nigeria.

Let the South Stop wasting her time. If Oduduwa and Biafra Republic must be actualized, it starts from the Southern Senators and House of Rep members.

If all the Southern Senators walk out of the chambers, all the Southern Ministers, House of Rep members all walk out, resign and demand to be left out.

Then the Southern Governors separate themselves from Nigeria, form a coalition for independent resource control and each region have her own PRIME MINISTER WHO WILL RULE HER PEOPLE, trust me, Oduduwa Republic and Biafra Republic will be actualized.

Until then, its just a jamboree...... Y'all still playing Mario...
