The information on your statement of purpose should be private to you. It is better to contact any of the gurus privately to help review this for you than posting publicly here. I would have loved to help but may not give that quality time to review your work due to lots of coursework in school.

You have made some reasonable effort but can be improved upon as noted below;

(1) Grammarly is a handy software tool that can help to polish your statement of purpose much better and even scan for text and grammatical mistakes that you might not even notice. Google Grammarly and read more about it.

(2) Brief History of Yourself -Highlight critical accomplishments in your workplace that relate to mobile work development and perhaps promotions, if any, in your present job.

(3) Proof of Funds See the bolded under the proof of funds - Reg flag! Again, don't give the VO the impression you intend to resign.

These are the three I spotted based on my glance; you would need to liaise with any of the gurus to help you review this. Please don't post your SOP publicly here again.

All the best.

Pls kindly assist to delete the initial quote showing my sop as you have advised

I would advise to avoid hinting that you could resign from your current work, instead try link how ur about to acquire expertise would be of relevance to ur current job and industry at large Because I feel they will want to know instant and long term market viability of the course in your home country. Something worth spending ur savings and investment on. So try tell them how web development will put u miles ahead your colleagues at work and will make ur employer see you as a valuable asset. You can highlight one small improvement you plan to add to the existing mobile application system of ur current employer. Then in a long run hw u plan to train and invest in human capital development in your country

My opinion tho
Good luck

Pls kindly help me delete the initial quote of my sop as advised by others

Waoooo
I got confused again with your support or sponsorship question
This is my case, I have the bulk of the funds in my own personal account and I also want to use both my father and brother as co-sponsors
I've gotten my father to sign his own sponsorship later, and my brother same
my question is if I want to get an affidavit for both of them as co-sponsors is it okay to go ahead with the affidavit request or notarize their letters or just submit like that?
2. Also is it advisable to use both my father and brother as co-sponsors or just one as a co-sponsor and the other as a supporter?

Hello Hertzz,

It takes nothing to get the affidavit done. When an affidavit is sworn, it gets notarized or authenticated.

If you think the financial strength of your father isn't strong enough, he can pool together with your brother to further strengthen the sponsorship capacity. There is no harm here.

Hope it is clear now?

Best of Luck

Hello @justmellow
I requested for my first GCMS notes it came very late close to 50days, I saw some concerns raised in the pre assessments notes raised by the VO, I quickly addressed the concerns via a well detailed LOE and sent back to them via webform and emails, it was acknowledged 2weeks later, so wen I was still waiting for the first gcms, I requested for another one, which will be 30days by next week Wednesday, though I don’t expect to see much sha.
Just hoping luck will shine on my side, my program has already begun, so I deferred and sent them my new LOA, my greatest worry now, since I now have new start date, they may choose not to expedite process, my application is already 4months,
With all these 8months am seeing now, can’t wait any longer

I just tire

Hello Marcelonwa,

The bolded is not always the case. You might be surprised that your application may be in the process of being finalized and may be waiting on an updated letter without requesting for it or as the case may be.

You should try to relax.

Best of Luck

Hi Guys,

Please has anyone gotten anything similar to this?

Hello,

It is part of IRCC generic templates also used to advise applicants whose queries were received through the webform/email. It has been long in use.

I believe your application is going accordingly?

Hello Ucystan,

Not necessarily, but it will help demonstrate your level of economic standing and strengthen your financial establishment. If it is possible for you to, include one.

Can one make reservations on booking.com for the 3days compulsory quarantine or does it have to be done directly from the hotel?

Hello MzMisty,

You can book directly with the hotel, but ensure it is amongst the designated hotels by GoC/IRCC. There is a list on the IRCC website.

During one of my online research, I saw that the SOP should not be more than 1500 words. The goal is to provide only relevant information and go straight to the point, as the VO is pressed for time and may not appreciate reading a very long SOP.

Please how true is this?? About what the length of an SOP should be.

I edited mine severally till I kept to the word count. Would appreciate a response to this. Just curious

Hello Ritzzybaron,

Word count or number of pages isn't a rule when writing a letter. However, it is good to keep it concise and straightforward, but it is better to have it address all grounds of concerns and engaging.

The letter or number of pages should be written based on the application/applicant's situation. A 1-page letter can get approval so is a 7-pages letter and vice versa.

It is best to worry about the content and the audience rather than the number of pages. A 1-page letter is mostly suitable for a less or noncomplex application.

Shawn55ng: it is advised not to submit this letter to avoid plagiarism. These ideas are no longer unique and there is a need to further improve on the ideas/letter. Follow GCMSWriters on IG, Twitter, or Telegram. Reach out to them for a professionally well-written letter.

Booking is online and is confirmed after payment online as well.

You can’t book without making payment currently. I payed 40000 for the earliest slot that was available when I booked.

Hello Kunfu,

It takes nothing to upload it. It will serve as justifiable evidence for the study gap except if you have other proof that can cover the gap.

Since you are a mature applicant that is a gainful earner, it is good to include one. The officer may not base assessment only on the sponsor connection to the application, but may also decide to assess the applicant as an individual.

Understandably, your spouse's financial grounds can cover you. It becomes more convincing that since you are not dependent on your spouse being gainfully employed, a curious officer may want to see how economically established you are, hence, where the financial record comes into play to help demonstrate this through your financial inflows/outflows.

If possible, have your living expenses in your account and submit your payslips. If this is not possible and if the inflows are good, but with an average sitting balance, include it along with payslips.

Hello Bertram87,

You have to reach out to the interested party for arrangement and have the correct info of the individual used for the booking. On that day, it is the details that will be used to facilitate the appointment with a brief explanation or verification from the original client/booker to affirm the fact.

I don't know if swaps are still entertained, as last I heard about 3 - 4 months ago, IOM wasn't acknowledging swaps no more. You may want to confirm for yourself or those who did recently can confirm
