For sunburn, apply vitamin E capsules to face every night before bed. Use small amount as it is thick in texture.

As for oily face , don’t know .

It will reduce it later with time . I used a face cream someone sold me here on nairaland and immediately after 5days I developed a severe sunburn. I’ve never had sunburn in my life before o.

It was vitamin E capsules that removed them from my face . Mine was so bad that I though it was over. It took 2months of everyday usage to bring my face back to life . Mine was black and very bad. Pls use it, it will heal the skin first before getting rid of the sunburn. Don’t apply anything harsh , it may worsen it.

I think you need a face moisturizer. And buy a facial scrub , use twice a week along with a face moisturizer. I hope this helps.

You've done well . I think you shouldn't use the cosrx snail mucin and the boot hyaluronic serum in the same routine. You should use them on separate days to see the one that gives the best hydration.

You can try "Simple hydrating light moisturiser ". It comes in a 125ml container. Price is between 2500 to 4000.

Retinol suggestions - Cerave skin renewing retinol serum, Advanced clinicals retinol serum, The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in squalane.

I can't recommend a cream for you as I don't know the kind of skin you have. Neutrogena, Nivea, Jergens, Dove, St. Ives are all timeless fairness creams proven to give supple skin with consistent use.

Leave the Abidjan and Senegalese body creams alone. They will mess up your skin.

While you are in search of that cream to make you very very light, also be in search of sunscreens. I don't understand how you people forget this in your beauty (lightening) journey. If you had used sunscreen, you wouldn't have gotten dark. If you buy all the most expensive creams in the world and don't use sunscreen, then your beauty journey is a waste.

Sunscreen do come last after you must have applied your face moisturizer. It is usually applied on the face and the décolleté (neck and upper chest) 15 to 20 minutes before you leave the house.

You need to properly massage it into your skin as some of them tend to leave a white cast on the face.

Sunscreens generally do not have any fragrance. You should try the Black Girl sunscreen or Neutrogena Hydro boost sunscreen. It would give you a lovely glow. They are both in 88ml containers. Their prices ranges between N8000 to N11000

For maximum protection, reapply every 2hours and also use the 2-fingers rules to know the quantity to apply on your face.

All this plenty procedure just to apply ordinary cream

I have no problem with being dark dear. Infact I love black� My mother and 2 sisters are dark in complexion but I was born with a very fair complexion like my dad( my dad is so fair to the extent that he can be mistaken for a white man) even tho he is is purely Nigerian from Enugu state infact everyone from my father's side have that striking fair complexion and I happen to be the only one of his children that took his colour�.

Since I am born light, I choose to maintain that complexion. The fact that I am "African" does not mean I should let my natural fair skin to turn dark due to environmental factors and stress.
I started getting dark ( as in my skin appears dark and duller than before) since I started uni and this is because of the hot sun where I school. I love black but I will also love to get my complexion back to as it was before.
I hope you understand now that I have no intention to bleach nor do I think anything is wrong with being black.
P.S. anyone who knows any cream or soap I can use to whiten or any idea what could be wrong ( I use sunscreen already)
