Nuno has been my preferred coach when Emery left.
Not these youth corpers

Arteta na real youth corper.

I was never a fan of his appointment but as a true fan of the club I supported him when he was appointed. He impressed me with his win against loserpool, city and clinching the FA cup last season. I thought he would build on that and at least make us enjoy good football once again but it seems we expected too much from him.

It looked more like he over achieved by doing the aforementioned feats and he can't reach that peak again. His nonsense match day selection week after weeks is too bitter to stomach. His trust in players who don't even trust themselves makes it even worse. His defensive approach to all games is sickening.

If he keeps doing that rubbish with fans likely to be back in the stadium next season I'm sure he will get 2hat is coming to him

Sell Auba please or remove that captain from him...... He does not inspire anything, Xhaka or Tierney should be our captain next season.... We need a young striker

Training should teach them how to score!!!!

Lol. Not so fast.

But you're right about the captaincy.

Lol... @ the 90+5 min was when that happened. Like that's almost the last kick of the game (not like the goal was the winning goal sef).

I still insist, Pepe is very underwhelming when dribbling or beating his man effectively. I hope he improves on it consistently cos performances like that is what drags us down to mid table position.
For all the sticks he gets, he was our highest goal contributor this season.

It is really true, the mentality of the current players is weak.

Hardly will you find Viera and Henry celebrating an 8- place finish during their era.

Highest contributor of goals in what way?
By boosting his goals in Europa group stage or what? Something Nketiah and balogun can do easily. Please don't make me laugh.

The only match in that Europa league he scored important goal(s) was in the quarters.
As for the league, 10goals and 1 assist(11goal contribution). Hmmm!!

Please and please, let me don't come across as someone who dislike Pepe abeg. We(or I) want Pepe to improve with the way he plays and his output and we're open to his improvement, but please don't start overhyping pepe as if he did wonders and we're downplaying it. He needs to improve. Else,We'll forever be stuck in 8th and 10th if we believe Pepe tried very very well this season.

The mediocrity you are seeing today started from the board during wenger days.

No top club should be fighting for top 4 evry season, while their mates are fighting for the EPL title and champions league every season.

Saldy this mediocrity has eaten deep into the squad too. sad

By now a serious top club that just finished 8th in the league should have sacked the coach and sacked the incompetent edu and bring in highly trained professionals with experience to steady the ship before it goes sinking further down into the abyss of mediocrity, but my club is still showing faith when artea no be Jesus Christ self.

Aubameyang, lacazette, willian, xhaka, AMN, Bellerin, Nkeitah, guendouzi, willock, cedric, eleny and leno (if he do anyhow) should be used to raise our transfer funds since their presence in the field is as good as dead.

Our priority going into the transfer wimdow should be
Beundia
Bissouma
Odegard (another loan + option)
New RB
Backup LB
New CF that suit our style of play preferably Andre Silva from frankfurt

New team for next season should look like

GK - Leno, Ryan

LB - Teirney, backup LB

RB - New RB, chambers

CB - Saliba, mavro, holding, Gabriel, Mari

Midfield - Partey, Bissouma, odegaard and Smith Rowe
(buendia, chambers and Azzez should be included in the midfield incase of emergency)

Attack - Saka, Martinelli, Pepe, Nelson, Beundia, Andre silva and Balogun

In the January transfer window, since we might have fewer and tougher games, I suggest we loan some of our youngsters with limited playing time like balogun, nelson and Azeez while we bring in a temporary EPL experienced striker to compensate for balogun loan.

We have only one goal next season and that is to go back to the top of the EPL since we will have fewer games compared to the remaining top 7 clubs.

It's time we prioritize quality over quantity in the squad, but alas we have arteta who might decide to renew lacazette, xhaka and eleny contract this season and might choose to bring either odegaard or beundia when in reality we need both.

That's all for now, na to sitdown for fence dey observe how this transfer window go be, I don dey even hear say Artea wan add another CB to the team meanwhile our major problem last season was our inability not to create chances because of the lack of creative players in the team. undecided

Sadly we are not the ones making transfer descions within the club sad

Ibrahima Konaté to Liverpool, done deal. Medicals already completed days ago. #LFC are gonna trigger €35m release clause in the next days and announce the signing from RB Leipzig. Here we go confirmed. #LFC

Personal terms agreed since April 23 - contract until June 2026.

If Liverpool begin to compete highly in Bpl and UCL next season, Some people will start saying VAR is favoring them and what have you, This is how you know ambitious team that has set focus success and a team destined for midtable.
