Yeah...like someone chasing you and you want to wake up but waking up no dey agree
not even that,
I was too conscious that its a dream that I won't even run if someone chased me since I know its just a mere dream.

Its more of imagination, but in this, u are imagining while in deep sleep and u can't stop the imagination, u are imprisoned in ur own imagination but u are aware that its just ur imagination and it isn't real

I don't have the words to explain it sha

Oga its not sleep paralysis when u are neither asleep nor awake.

This is pure dream where u know its a dream and looking for a way to wake up, I can't explain it, but u are conscious inside an illusion, ur mind is not in the real world, u are seeing urself in the dreamland just like every other dream, but the difference is that in this one, u are conscious of the environment
so u saying its nt gud to be conscious in dreams

nope, its more of a weak body but an active mind.

When u sleep, the mind and the body works almost instantaneous, but a situation where ur body sleeps few seconds before ur minds shut down, u will experience sleep paralysis.
It happens mostly to people with active mind, when u are depressed, when u are in exam period, when u are scared, anxious, or fear of a particular event,
If ur mind worked excessively that day, u might experience sleep paralysis, u could force urself to wake up but its gonna take some minutes and u might wake up with a headache

I've experienced it just once(early last year) and it scared me, maybe if I experience it again, I'll be able to control it very well, but for now, its a bad thing to be conscious in a dream that u can't wake up

The only time I felt and saw my spirit leave my body was a near death experience.
I suddenly starting moving away from my body with a very fast unexplainable speed...... It was an experience....... That day I realised how painful separation from the body can be.
Where you putting on the same cloth you worn or you were naked or not even conscious of your cloth when your spirit left the body?

I remember the days of bilyonaire, dude was giving tutorials on astral projections and stuffs to get an OBE despite the fact that I don't believe in all this kinda stuffs at all but I tried Astral projection and I always get scared when I reach the vibration stage, I feel I'll die or maybe I'm shutting of my body which will lead me to die.
Remove the fear and you will be alright.

since it happened to me the first time and I have no idea of how I'll wake up, I thought I was actually dead in the real world and that is the real me and my real consciousness in the spirit world, the only thing missing was my real body which I knew is lying somewhere on the bed

be aware and conscious in your dream is a good thing it shows your spirit man is alive and can prevent unwanted bad people or spirit from manipulating you or ur thought. you can control what will definitely happen. continue praying bro, it a gift from God

This one is small compared to what I do in dreams. Dead people would send me errands to living people and I would ask them questions back. If they say the living person should send a certain object or valuable thing to them, I would ask how the living will be able to send it since the dead and living don't live in the same plane and and the dead would give instructions concerning how to do it.

It was a near death experience. I was sick. Then, I must've fainted. I just saw myself, no physical body, just kinda floating but I know it was me on a long, narrow corridor. Except for the black and white tiled floor, everywhere was plain. The speed with which I was traveling was much, almost like a car's. At the end of the corridor, stood a big, brown, carved, wooden door. I was running to the door. I was holding the door knob when I came back to life. I don't know what stopped me from opening the door. I never got to find out what was on the other side of the door. Thank God for his immense blessings
hmm you guys seem to have the same experience

The first time I attempted it was when I was In Js 2, had an accident while crossing, when I got better I took a course online on Spirit Self.
Yes you can travel fast while out of your body, but the things you see becomes less comprehensive.

Over the years I can't say I have mastered the act, but to a considerable length I can say with a deep level of concentration, I can effectively control it.

I try not to linger for 2 long,
Sometimes I fear I might not know how to regain consciousness.
1hour 1hour 30mins at most.

Because of that I have mastered my dream life, I can recall Dreams almost immediately am awake, and it also grants me the skill to know when am dreaming.

Seriously that's the best of it all, When you know when dreaming.

That is lucid dreaming, I once tried to learn how to master it, but I gave up when it didn't worked for me.
Though I can lucid dream randomly, but it's better if you can learn how to lucid dream whenever you want.

sleep paralysis! thats what the white man calls it, but my village brothers say na village people they come press person for night. First time i experienced it was in my room back then in the university. it wasnt funny at all, When i finally gained control of my body i was all sweaty and really scared even with the fan on. Ive read about it before so i knew immediately it was the sleep paralysis ive been reading about or village people get my time that period whichever one is valid. Not long after that first experience about a few days interval it happened again. What i observed was that at both times i was sleeping facing up while it happened so i try as much as possible to control my sleeping position. E neva happen to me since then but anytime i loose guard leave body anyhow con turn face up i deh get nightmares.

I read some books about Astra projection, after reading I thought I was prepared. I tried it, it was un the afternoon I slept, I was in a deep sleep but I was still conscious few minutes later I started hearing vibration I tried raising my hands and it worked I felt that my hands was weightless it was like there was no gravity, I tried raising my legs too it was desame weightlessness I observerd the most scary part was raising my full body, I knew that if I raise my full body I will be completely out of my body and I was scared of that. The only thing I can do is raise my hands and legs grin
please what books did you read

Many people thought that the only time that people can leave their body is when they die, but I think that's not true.
So here's my experience:
I have once had out of body experience. And it was a great privilege for me.
Here's my story, one morning I worked up and started feeling so light, it was frightening at first, but I didn't gave it much thought, I assumed it's because I'm tired or maybe because it's morning. I then went out and eased myself, later came back and went to the palour to bring my phone, I plugged it to NEPA the previous day.
When I came back to my room, I saw my body on the bed, I was confused... I thought I was dead, I moved over and touched it. It was real for a second. That was when I immediately started feeling dizzy and fainted, and then waked up instantly in my body, I checked to see if it's real or not, but surprisly, it's real, I didn't died.
And the funny thing is that The activities I previously performed seemed to be real too...
Up to this day, I'm still confused about what happened that morning, I just can't fully comprehend it.
So what about you, have you experienced such before?

Yeah Op I can relate...you rightly called it of body experience...advanced spiritual masters and scholars consciously induce such experiences through deep meditation.

You should try to replicate your mental state that brought about such experience there are somuch you can learn from such out of body travels...in such state you're not limited by physical parameters or barriers...you can even fly and go to places where you only dream of in the physical...with consistency you can even learn more about life and yourself which your physical body and senses are unaware of....the limit to out of body experiences is the mind.

Life is more complex than most imagine....somany of us have not discovered the mystery of life itself, there are somuch to learn...we are still sleeping like that lifeless mass you met when you came back to your room.
